Fresh x Epic |💀☁|

"Seriously Bruh?? Again?" I was on the phone with my friend Cross, we were supposed to hangout today but apparently something more important came up.

"Sorry Dude, but Ink needed help with something."

"Doesn't he have other people to help him? C'mon bro you're always cancelling." I admit I sounded like a child but Cross was one of the only people in the multiverse that found me funny and not stupid funny.

"Ya, but they need extra help, buncha people have been going missing around the multiverse, including a few of their friends, like Fresh."

"Fresh? That cool hippie guy?"

"Exactly! Maybe you can look for him while Ink and I find the others!

"Eh, I don't know about that-" Before I could finish my sentence he interrupted me, basically insisting that I help out, after some convincing and him promising that he'd buy me a donut I agreed.

I was sent around a few au's to find Fresh, while the others split up and searched for the other people. This whole thing kinda freaked me out though, going out on your own to find missing people, that sounded 'sooo smart'. I went to maybe 3 different au's before finding this one, it was clearly abandoned. Not expecting anything to happen I calmly walked through the au kicking snow, slowly making a snowball. Since all the other ones were normal I didn't expect anything different from this.

"This is boring, Ima just go home.' I was about to teleport away when I heard glass break, I looked at each of the buildings that I was around, there wasn't anything different from any snowdin town, everything was easily recognizable. The library seemed fine, same with grillbys, and the shop, the only one left was the snowdin inn, which had a broken window, indicating glass broke.

I thought about calling Cross or maybe Dream but I didn't want to waste any time, so instead I ran into the building. The place was clearly a mess, dirt everywhere, papers all over the floor and it smelled worse than Crosses socks.

I went upstairs, the smell became much stronger and I immediately realised how much dust was in the air. Slowly and carefully I walked down the hallway, looking in each room, it was almost as if it kept getting worse.

"Oh my god..." I walked into a room, filled with corpses, blood was coated the walls and I was practically inhaling dust.

I turned around and began to run, not caring about making too much noise. Before I could reach the stairs I heard a crash come from another room followed by a scream, whoever screamed was hurt, bad. I ran toward the noise. I opened the door to where the room was, and on the floor was

...Fresh,

He was on the ground gripping his face, trembling, clearly scared.

"Fresh, holy, are you ok? Let me see your face? Get up, I'm taking you to my place."

"Epic please get out of here! Now!" He pushed me away, angrily. Did I listen? Of course not.

"Don't be stupid, you're coming home with me. Come on, we're leaving."

"Epic now. LEAVE!" When he yelled leave, he gripped my wrist and basically threw me across the floor. I stood up and watched him and how he changed.

He began screaming and gripping his eyes, his spine began to crack and you could see spikes ripping through his shirt.

"Fresh!-"

"EPIC LEAVE!"

I wasted no time and immediately sprinted out the door, down the hallway. As I'm running I heard him follow after me, clawing and ripping the walls open. I teleported to Dream.

"Epic! Oh my stars, are you ok?!" I landed in front of Dream, (who was with Ink), Dream cupped my face and began questioning me.

~Time Skip~

It had been a few days since the incident. Ink and Dream found Fresh in the au and 'kidnapped' him. He was staying in Sci's au, since he had all the tech and proper holding cells. I was currently in Crosses house with him and Dream, we were planning to go see how Fresh was doing.

"Alright dude, you remember the rules? No touching the glass, one at a time, no yelling, and don't fall for stupid tricks."

"You're treating me like a child, I remember the rules."

"Perfect! Let's go now!" Dream then opened a portal and led us through.

"Oh! You guys are here, he's just in the other room, warning he won't talk and might just stare at you, it's kinda threatening. Who wants to go first?"

Dream was about to speak, but I interrupted him.

"I'm going first." I then carefully walked past all of them. The other room was pretty normal, except for the giant crate with Fresh in it. I walked up to the cage and sat in front of it. He was laying on the ground, panting heavily, his claws in his back were gone, but his parasite was still crawling out of eye, it almost looked like it was spreading.

"Hey man, it's me. You look better." It was silent, just like Sci said. He won't talk, so I did.

"I should've been more worried when you went missing, I could've helped you sooner and I'm sorry, I really care about you, and I want you to know that." I stood up and began to walk out the door, tears were threatening to fall down my cheeks(?).

"E...Epic. I'm sor-sorry."

I turned around and ran to the glass. Getting as close as I could to him, without looking stupid.

"You scared me so much! Don't say sorry to me, it wasn't your fault! Are you ok?!"

He was still laying on the ground but he weakly nodded. I went to the door to the crate and opened it, going inside. I sat down next to him, he turned around, and reached his hand out, motioning me to lay down.

I layed down next to him, and his parasite moved back into his eye. He pulled me closer to him so his head was sitting over mine.

"You're so tall. Be shorter." He just hummed

"May..be you cou-could get taller." I smiled softly and looked up at him.

"I did mean it though, I do care about you and I'm sorry." He looked at me softly, making eye contact.

"I ca-re about you too, and I'm also sorry."

We just stared at each other before he quickly moved his head down, connecting our lips(?). It was perfect, everything in this moment was just perfect, the feeling, the person I was with, everything. He gently grabbed me, pulling me closer and I cupped his skull.

He moved his skull away slightly, barely any space between us.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."
