Light's POV:
Levi was actually better at roller skating than I thought. He glided across the rink and the fact it was his first time made it ten times better. He was a natural.
Sora and Jaxx headed to their own car, letting us know they were going to go pick up some groceries. Chris decided he didn't want to go with, so he headed back to the squad mansion with Levi and I. Levi didn't look amused any time he tried to make small talk with me during the car ride, and I did not blame him.
Chris seemed like a nice guy and all, but he knew obviously Levi and I weren't just friends yet still decided to flirt with me. I cringed at every horrible pickup line that flew off his tongue. The car ride was mostly silent. Levi drove while Chris sat in the backseat and I sat in the front passenger seat listening to music.
We got to the squad mansion and Jade greeted us with a very unfriendly argument with Zach. Those two could never get along, not even if they'd get a prize to say just one kind thing to one another.
"Bro, no! Who puts milk before cereal?" Jade argued.
"You probably drink cereal with water, you weirdo." Zach retorted, folding his arms over his chest. Levi and I shared a glance and tried to hold in our laughter. Chris looked unamused, as if he was sick of the squad already. And I wouldn't blame him.
You'd think that Zach and Jade were only enemies on camera and it's all staged. But I promise you, every 'Shut up, Jade!' and 'Shut up, Zach!' are not part of the script.
Jade was the first to notice us and waved, completely changing character.
Typical Jade.
Levi went to take a shower while I sat against the backboard of our bed, waiting for him to finish while scrolling through Instagram.
I reluctantly got up when there was a knock on our door and I hadn't heard the shower turn off. They knocked again harder as soon as I got of the bed, making me scoff at them.
"I'm coming! Jeez."
I opened the door which revealed Chris standing on the other side, looking giddy. He smiled goofily at me and grabbed me by the arm, leading me downstairs. A sound escaped my throat at the sudden motion.
What was he doing?
He set me down on the couch in the living room and turned on Netflix. I cringed at the idea of him watching a movie with me.
"What are you doing?" I asked carefully.
He looked just as psychotic as Charli, is this just a coincidence? It can't be. They look so alike, like siblings. Could Charli have sent him? I was overthinking again. I mentally shook the negative thoughts out of head.
"Watching a movie, of course. What else?" He sat uncomfortably close to me and I grimaced.
"Gee, thanks for asking if I'd like to. What a gentleman." I spat, not hiding the sarcasm in my tone and rolling my eyes. Chris glared at me but chose the movie anyway. When I saw he chose The Conjuring 2, I got up and left.
One thing everyone in the squad knew about me was I hated horror movies. I didn't waste any time running back up the stairs, ignoring Chris calling my name and shutting the door behind me when I entered my room. Levi was out of the shower and raised his eyebrow at me when he saw me.
