Levi's POV:

The clock read 2:40 in the morning, and we all scrambled into the coach. The coach I'd payed for was no joke. It had two floors; the top one was just the rows of seats, but the bottom was all sorts of things. There was a pool table, a gaming corner and more. It was almost three hundred dollars.

The last of the luggage was put into the trunk and the driver mentioned that this would be a six hour journey, and we were leaving in twenty minutes.

Light and I sat right in the back seats while most of the squad sat right in the front. I would've loved to sit at the front as well, but Light didn't want to be disturbed while he slept. But either way, the squad was still loud. My phone pinged notifications from Instagram every few seconds with posts the squad members had just made.

Light decided to try sleep through the noise the squad was making, thinking they were going to go down to the lower level soon enough.

"Augh.. My head hurts from all this noise..." Light complained, leaning his head against my shoulder with his eyes closed in an attempt to fall asleep.

"I told you they wouldn't shut up till they're allowed into the bottom floor. There's three minutes till they'll go," I said, kissing his forehead as he sighed. "You can rest your head in my lap if you'd like."

"Alright! We're taking off, you can go to the bottom floor now." The driver then suddenly said, and everyone scrambled down. Light smiled to himself then closed his eyes again and rested his head in my lap like I suggested.

And we stayed like that for about three out of the six hours. I didn't sleep a wink the whole time, I just watched him. I admired his perfectly symmetrical face, but not in a creepy way.

Well, maybe a little bit.

I shifted slightly and Light seemed to have woken up. He stared up at me drowsily before rubbing his eyes.

"Morning, sleeping beauty." I said, yawning, and Light just rested his head on my shoulder and looked at me.

"Did you even sleep?" Light asked me, with a slight rasp in his voice. I shook my head and ran my hand through his hair.

"No, I just watched you." I said, shrugging. Light made a weird face, and I smiled.

"You creep... I bet I could beat you in a game of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, though!" He challenged.

"Oh? It's on!"

——

The whole squad was in the bottom half when Light and I arrived, and Luca was playing against Chris on the Nintendo Switch. Luca couldn't make himself more obvious, how was Chris so oblivious? Anyone could tell he had a thing for Chris by the way he looked at him.

But either way, I was glad things were starting to look up for my brother.

"Mind if we join you guys? This nerd said he can beat me in Mario Kart." I said, and Light elbowed me in the gut.

"I'm not a nerd! And yeah, I did." Light replied, and Chris and Luca shared looks.

"Ghetto game." Chris said, shrugging. Luca glared at him and he put his hands up in surrender and dropped the blue joystick, getting up and sitting on another bean bag. Luca shifted his attention back to us.

"Well, good luck, Light. This dumbnut is really competitive." Luca shrugged, but Light's expression didn't change. I picked up the blue joystick Chris had dropped, and Light collected the red one from Luca.

As expected, I won all of the rounds. I loved Light and all, but there was no way I was going to lose to him. I was too stubborn for that.

Light was fake mad at me for the rest of the ride to the hotel, and didn't speak to me.

We all exited the coach and were met with a grand building with a lot of windows. It was about three-stories and covered in different shades of beige paint and large pure white windows.

"This place looks awesome." Chris and Luca said in unison, then shared looks for a split second before looking away again. This was the first time I'd seen my brother shy around the person he liked, I almost burst out laughing.

The inside of the hotel was a lot larger than I thought it would be just by looking at the outside of the building.

Approaching the front desk to check in and collect our keycards wasn't as easy as I wished. I thought I'd gotten over the fear of speaking to people, but some of it lingered in me without me noticing. Thankfully, Light noticed and came over.

"Hello! How can I help?" The hotel receptionist chirped, looking up from her computer at us with a warming smile.

"Uh, I payed for the stay online. Under the name Inquisitormaster." I said, not stuttering as much as I would if the woman was intimidating.

"Oh, yes. I see. Are all of them with you?" The receptionist asked, signalling at the rest of the squad.

"Yeah they are."

"Alrighty," She started, opening a drawer and handed me all the keycards, menu's, and.. some piece of paper. "You guys have the rooms: #102, #103, #104, #105, and #106. Breakfast is from six to ten in the mornings. But don't worry about lunch and dinner, it'll mention it in the menu's. Have a nice stay!" She finished, and I smiled at her.

——

When Light opened the door to our room with a keycard, I didn't hesitate to flop onto the bed and close my eyes. Light grimaced and put his stuff down.

"Levi, you tramp! Take off your shoes!" He complained, but I didn't move a muscle. I wasn't going to either. The only thing I wanted to do was sleep. Even though it was around nine in the morning.

"How about you take them off for me... I'm so exhausted, I'm gonna die." I murmured, and to my surprise, Light came up to the bed and yanked my shoes off.

"Should've slept on the coach," Light rolled his eyes then opened his suitcase to take out a change of clothes and a towel.

"Hey, Light?" I muttered quietly, and Light turned to face me. "Can you please not take long in the shower and come lay with me till I fall asleep?"

"When did you turn into such a baby?" Light said, rolling his eyes but he tried to hide a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

"I'm not used to sleeping alone anymore so you better say yes. That is a command." I responded, and Light let out a laugh.

"Alright then, I'll need to change your diaper first, though."

"I'm not a baby!"
