Cinderpelt's Alternate Life

Chapter 1

Cinderpaw was going on a walk right before her warrior ceremony as she wanted to let off some steam.

She was walking through the forest when she heard a cat call out to her. She wondered who it was.

"Hello!" A bright orange tom said from behind a fence.

He smelled like kitty pet but has soft gentle green eyes. He looked kind of sweet actually.

"Hi?"Cinderpaw said curiously.

"I'm Rusty! How about you?"

"I am Cinderpaw!" She said.

"Do you want to hang out? I'm kinda lonely..." He said looking bashful.

"Yeah! Of course!" She replies.

Hours went by talking with

Rusty before she realized she had to head back.

"Oh look at the

time! I have to get to my clan! I will see you tomorrow okay?" She said jumping over the fence.

"Okay! See you!" He said looking content.

She ran back to camp and quickly cleaned herself up before entering. She walked in and saw that her mother Sorreltail was looking worried. She gasped at the sight of her daughter.

" Are you okay? I was worried you forgot about the warrior ceremony!" She said looking relieved.

"I took a walk and then a fell asleep by the sunning rocks." She said simply.

"All cats old enough to catch they're own prey gather round!" Bluestar said.

"Cinderpaw and Brackenpaw come here" She said looking at the two apprentices.

She looked at Brackenpaws broken leg but didn't say anything.

"Cinderpaw you have proven to become a warrior many times and I give you the name of Cinderpelt. I hope you help your clan in every way." She said gazing down at the new warrior,

" Brackenpaw you have proven you self a great medicine cat and shall be named Brackenshade." She said. She motioned for the meeting to end and walked off to her den with her deputy Tigerclaw.

Cinderpelt noticed that Bluestar was in heat but thought nothing of it really. Then while all the cats got ready for bed she sat at the edge of camp for the vigil. She heard noises from the leaders den but thought nothing of it.

She immediately sat down and shut her mouth though her brain was buzzing. 

The next day Cinderpelt stretched getting up and walked to the warrior den to get some sleep. She fell asleep and dreamed of her kitty pet friend.

She woke up and realized that she had to get ready to meet Rusty. She knew the leader wouldn't notice and snuck out of camp. She ran to the kitty pet place and waited on the fence for her friend. They met up and hung out.

Rusty asked if she wanted to go inside and she declined but wondered what a twoleg nest would look like. She went home right before twilight and caught some mice and a robin before going back to camp.

She did this many times over the next moon and then she stayed there for a night. Whenever she was in camp she would check the leader to see if her belly was showing. When she got back to camp she saw Yellowfang rush to the leaders den with a bundle of herbs. It turns out the Bluestar had her litter of kits and they looked like Tigerclaw. No one but her knew what really happened and she just passed it off like everything else. But she knew the leader couldn't keep the kits so later that day she went to go talk to them.

"Bluestar I know those are your kits. I was in camp when you and Tigerclaw were hanging out in your den. It was my vigil remember?" She said while looking at the leader, "I have a idea but you have to agree. I can take care of your kits and even though I am young I know how to deal with kits." Cinderpelt said confidently.

"You do seem to know what you are doing...." Bluestar said sighing. "Please take care of them...." Cinderpelt nodded and took the kits and walked out of camp. She decided to go to Rusty's place as she knew he would help.

He was surprised but understood the situation

.Cinderpelt knew she had to go back to her clan but she left the kits with Rusty trusting that he would take care of them.

She walked into camp and headed for the medicine den. She wanted to talk to Brackenshade. When she entered the den she saw him and Yellowfang sorting out herbs.

"Brackenshade I need to talk to you privately. Follow me."

Cinderpelt said motioning with her tail to leave the den.

He nodded to Yellowfang and headed out of the den quite confused. She walked out camp and lead him to Rusty's home.

"Brackenshade I am going to stay with my mate Rusty here. At the kitty pet place. I never really felt like I belonged here and I want to stay here with him."

She said looking at the two toms. They looked each other up and down then Brackenshade nodded and walked off into the woods behind him. He turned then waved with his tail. She could tell this was hurting them more than her was showing. But alas she was now a kitty pet and was with her one true love.

"What should I call you now? Since your not a clan cat anymore and you seem to like the name Cinder. How about Cinder? It is a strong name you know."

Rusty said his bright orange pelt shimmering in the sunshine. She nodded thinking the name was alright. 

Three moons later......

The two kits of Bluestar and Tigerclaw were now weaned and ready to travel. They cat family left the two legs long ago. Well at least a moon. They left to search for a fabled clan called Skyclan. Apparently the Skyclan cats were very low in numbers and were welcomed to newcomers. They heard that the cats could be found in the bottom of the gorge.

While Cinder was an apprentice she learned that there was a tunnel that you could take to the bottom of the clan. It was much safer for the kits and her since she was expecting kits.

Anyways Cinder was feeling uncomfortable looking for the tunnel. But when she found it she felt huge relief.

"Rusty, Piper, Stone I found the tunnel!"

She said not trying to excite herself. She walked down the tunnel with her mate against her for safety. They walked in the tunnel noticing that it looked like it was made by a clan. Not Skyclan but a clan.

"Hello? We have come to join Skyclan."

Rusty said looking around at the end of the tunnel. Suddenly a cat with walked into view. The cat had  dappled pelt and looked regal.

I am going to make part two soon and I hope you all enjoy it so far. I have been very busy with holiday break and I have not gotten the time to write.
