"Nan Yue, what are you doing here?" Qin Zichen asked with a look of surprise.
Nan Yue pouted her lips aggrievedly, "Why? You don't wanna see me here?" She said, hooking her arms into his.
Qin Zichen gently withdrew his arms away from Nan Yue as he maintained a smile on his face.
"Aren't you worried for me?" She bit her lips as she pointed at the bruises on her legs.
She crossed her arms and complained like a petulant child, "Some annoying b*stard didn't apologize nor help me when he unintentionally or intentionally pushed me!" She sighed frustratingly.
She again pointed at her scratched knee, "Look! it hurts so bad! Don't you always treat it?"
Qin Zichen sighed, "Alright, let's go!"
"You should carry me! My legs hurt so bad!" She coyly bit her lip with her nail as she blinks her eyes.
"Hehe." Lin Feiyi's low chuckle broke out.
"You managed to walk that far. You must have strong pain tolerance." She said with sarcasm filling her eyes while looking at her newly painted white nails.
Nan Yue wanted to roll her eyes but faked a smile instead, "Oh! It's the girlfriend-wannabe!"
"What does it have to do with you whether he carries me or not?" She said sweetly but her eyes wanted to have a fierce fight, "Don't you usually do this, Chen'er?" She pouted her lips at Qin Zichen.
"Miss, the clinic is over there. It's just ten steps or so and you're good." Lin Feiyi tapped her shoulders and grinned.
Nan Yue furrowed her brows, "You-"
Lin Feiyi hooked her soft hands onto Qin Zichen's arms and leaned closer to him, "He will take me to see the garden, Right?" She squinted her eyes at him with a broad smile.
Qin Zichen reluctantly agreed.
"Oh! He's going to take you there? I wanna see the garden too." Nan Yue caressed her hair as she had an amused smile.
Lin Feiyi suppressed a chuckle and lightly lifted her lips and brows, "Aren't your legs hurting, you say?"
Lin Feiyi gestured at one of her bodyguards, and a man wearing a black suit approached them.
"Help her up to the clinic!" She said in a monotone voice.
"Yes, Miss." The black-suited guy politely bowed
The two walked farther away from Nan Yue as Nan Yue stared at their backs coldly with her hands clenching.
"I'll make sure that we'll get back together, Chen'er." She muttered to herself with darkened eyes
Lin Feiyi lowered her head and silently snickered.
She remembered this girl who kept acting coquettishly to Harris when she, Harris, and Mrs. Li visited France after college graduation.
She was fuming with jealousy back then. But she knows that Harris isn't interested in women.
She later forgot her but later remembered after seeing her at the restaurant last time.
She again took a background check and found out that she is Qin Zichen's ex-girlfriend.
The reason they broke up is unknown to her but she had a feeling it was because of Harris.
According to her investigation, she seems more fond of being with Harris than with Qin Zichen.
Lin Feiyi's lips curved into a smirk.
