"I have matters to take care of." Said Mei Suxian with a long face.
"But lunch is ready, and I cooked your favorite dishes."
Mei Suxian shook her palm and answered, "You can preserve the foods and reheat them once I return. I'll be leaving!"
Mei Suxian left the puzzled Aunt Mo.
"She seems to be in a rush..." Aunt Mo muttered to herself.
She sighed heavily, thinking about the warm dishes on the table.
She walked to the dining hall and started cleaning the table.

Qin Zichen had been working for hours and didn't even have lunch on his mind.
There were stacks of papers and documents piled up on his desk.
He adjusted the glasses on his eyes-and had a pensive look going through files and files.

His voice was low but stern. It sent waves of anxiousness throughout the system's whole nerves.

Qin Zichen hummed in response.
"So don't tell me what to or not to do in the future. You understand, do you?"
[Ah... Y-Yes, Sir!]
Qin Zichen then heard light multiple knocks on the door.
"Sir, Can I come in?" Asked the voice from behind the door.
"Sure." Qin Zichen responded.
Jasmine entered with a bunch of folders containing crucial documents.
She walked over to his desk and handed Qin Zichen the folders.
"Sir, these papers need your signature."
Qin Zichen inspected them before writing his signature
"Sir, there's a lady outside wanting to see you. She's so stubborn and annoying!" Jasmine complained with a heavy sigh. She couldn't help but roll her eyes afterward.
"Good thing! I managed to make her leave," Jasmine said with a proud face.
"Who is it?" Qin Zichen asked nonchalantly without removing his gaze from the documents he was signing.
The door then bursts open, revealing Nan Yue's figure.
The loud bang from the door sent Jasmine into shock. She nearly felt her heart jumping out of her chest.
"How did you get here!?" Jasmine sternly scolded.
"Security!" Jasmine yelled.
Nan Yue looked pissed at Jasmine-calling security on her.
