Jisung rubbed his eyes tiredly and stifled a yawn as his psychology teacher continued with her soporific lecture. While she droned on and on about the cognitive actions and the brain, the class struggled to keep their eyes open, some physically restraining their eyelids from closing, and some resorting to stabbing themselves with pencils and pens to remain awake.
And then, of course, you had the ones who were already asleep.
Just as he was about to slip into dreamland, his classroom door slid open without warning, and the hypnotic grip of the teacher's lecture was broken as the class swiveled their heads towards the door, gratitude written on their faces for this unexpected interruption.
Jisung's relief, however, was much greater than the others, as his boyfriend of nearly two years strode in through the door with his signature cocky smirk playing on his lips, his purple hair ruffled across his forehead and his thighs a sight to behold in those leather pants.
"Professor," Minho addressed her, "the Principle wants to meet ya."
Jisung's teacher eyed him suspiciously for Minho's reputation wasn't the best around the campus but nodded anyway and said she would be back soon. The class erupted into cheers as soon as she shut the door behind her, and Jisung locked eyes with his boyfriend, a huge grin on both of their faces.
He was late to wake up this morning, so Jisung missed seeing his boyfriend before school. In two long strides, Minho closed the distance between the two and engulfed him in a warm hug.
"Missed ya," he mumbled in the younger's ear, making his cheeks flare in embarrassment. Jisung wrapped his arms around his neck, oblivious to the howling and shrieking that had erupted in his class.
"Missed you too, Min. By the way, you tricked her, didn't you? Our Principal is on leave for this week."
He grinned cheekily. "As I said, I missed ya. I'll deal with the punishment later. I just couldn't wait anymore. I had to see ya." He tapped his cheek. "You missed your mornin' kiss, and I was getting restless without it."
Jisung laughed and leaned to kiss him on the cheek. Minho, however, had other plans and turned his head at the last moment such that their lips connected. Jisung squeaked in surprise and broke the kiss, but not before Minho swooped in and kissed him on the nose.
"I feel way better now," he said, grinning mischievously. "Well, gotta go. The professor will be back any minute now, huffing and fuming." He made a beeline for the door but paused for long enough to add: "Oh, and one last thing."
"I love you, Sungie." And with that, he was out of the door, leaving Jisung behind with a very red face and a bunch of snickering classmates.
