Chapter 1: Halo MK1

"Ow... whe... where am I?" I said as I looked around.

It looked like I was in some sort of cell. The walls were black, and covered with dust.

"You'll have to figure that out for yourself kid" said a voice.

"Who.. who are you?"

"Thats what I should be asking you." Said the person behind voice as they stepped into the light.

A girl, about the same age as me, stood over me. She was tall, with long, light orange hair. Her eyes were just like mine, bright blue.

"I.... I'm Jack Sm-"

"Not your real name," She Shouted, "Do you want to be killed?!"

"S-sorry..." I replied, startled.

"Are you mentally ill or something?"

"I- I didn't know." I said confused, "My name is Mav."

She smiled, "Nice to meet you, the name's Raven."

"Where exactly am I?" I said looking around once again.

On closer examination, it looked like I was in some sort of storage room.

"You are on the HALO MK 1," She said proudly, "The finest ship in Roma system."

"Roma system?" I said confused.

Her face went pale, "You're new... aren't you?"

I started to panic, "New?! What's even going on?"

"Follow me," she said.I followed her to what I assumed to be the bridge of the ship. "Sora!" She yelled.

"Yes Captain?" Said Sora.

He was tall, at least 7 feet, and very large. His body remind me of brick.

Raven whispered something in his ear.His mouth opened and closed in shock as he looked at me. He then walked over to me.

"Whats your name?"

"Mav" I replied.

"Well Mav," He said, cracking his knuckles, "Welcome to the rest of your miserable, pathetic life."
