"CAN I GET TO THE YAMS SWEET YAHAAAMMS SHOW ME THE WAY CAUSE-" Nicho sang but Naomi cut him off quickly. "Shut the fuck up damn"she mugged him. "Naomi watch your mouth."mom placed a bowl on the table. "Sorry ma."Naomi said getting out her phone to take pictures. "Y/n what did you little boyfriend say about coming over?"my dad asked. "He said Robert wasn't gonna cook anyway so they should be here soon." I looked a him.

"Ok until then Nicho let's go watch some football."My dad smiled and went in the living room. "Hell yeah!"Nicho got up quick and went in the living room. "Nicho watch your mouth. What is wrong with you kids and cursing like hell."My mom face palmed. "We learn it from the best of the best"Naomi smiled at her. "And who's that?"My mom looked at her. "Our parents."Naomi got up and went in the living room.

"Y/n can you go get the door."My mom told me. I nodded and went to open the door. "Heyyy"I smiled and hugged Huey. "Enough mushy business where's the food."Robert pushed Huey and me out the way and walked into the house. "Oh so I'm invisible"I heard Riley say. I let go of Huey and turned to Riley. "Hey Reezy."I rolled my eyes and smiled.  "Ok now show me where the food is."Riley pushed me off him and walked away.

"If I get pushe one more time a bitch is gonna get slapped."I grabbed Huey's hand and walked us to the living room where everyone was. "NO GO LEFT- oh my god bro."Nicho yelled at the tv. "We'll get em next time." My dad patted his back. "No we won't our quarterback is ass."Naomi sighed. "Exactly."Riley agreed.

I know literally nothing about football so like...

"Enough about this dumb game and let's eat."My mom shut off the tv. "Finally."Nicho rubbed his stomach. Everyone got up and went into the dining room.

My mom,dad,Robert,and Naomi sat on one side. Me,Huey,Riley and Nicho sat across from them. And Orion sat at the end of the table in a high chair next to my mom.

"Ok so we have Mac and cheese,ham,turkey,dressing,candied yams,mashed potatoes, collard greens, and sweet potato pie." My mom pointed at each dish. "Can I get to the yams sweet yahaammss-"Nicho said reaching for the candied yams but my mom smacked his hand away. "We gotta say grace first boy wait."She said. 

We all held hands and put our heads down.

We don't really pray in my house so idk what to say js pretend😐

"Ok now let's dig in"My dad grabbed a spoon.

"Aight I think we should say what we're all thankful for now."Nicho said. "We haven't done that since like first grade.."Naomi looked at him. "So? I gotta let y'all know what I'm thankful for so we gonna do this."Nicho said. "I think Nicho is right."My dad said. "I'll start. I'm thankful for my husband and all my babiesss."My mom smiled at all of us. "I'm thankful for this promotion I got. If it wasn't for this we wouldnt have met you guys you know."my dad said.

"I'm thankful for this food......and my grandkids."Robert said. "Awe grandad."Riley smiled a little. "Shut up before I change my mind."Robert rolled his eyes. "I'm thankful for my twin even though he's mad annoying."Naomi said. "I'm thankful for my siblings and friends."I played with my hands. "I'm thankful for my brother and my girl."Huey smiled and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "I'm thankful for my gangster ways,my awesome fighting skills, all my hoes- I-I mean girls....and my friends."Riley said.

"Same as Riley. But I'm also thankful for my girl."Nicho dapped Riley up. "Since when does a girl like you?"I turned to Nicho. "I go to school you know I talk to girls."he rolled his eyes. "Yeah but since when do they talk to you?"I smiled at him. "Oh my god shut up."Nicho stuck his middle finger up at me. "Don't flip your sister off."My mom scolded Nicho.

"MINE"Orion yelled." We all faced him. "My turn"His baby voice squeeked. "I is tankfu foe my mommy and daddy and my iPad."I smiled at us. "Aweee"My mom dramatically grabbed her heart.

"Thanks for having us." Robert shook my parents hands. "Thank you for coming"My mom smiled. "Bye love"Huey hugged me and kissed my cheek as him and Riley left. "Oh and Robert before you go." My dad grabbed something from out of a bag. "Here thanks for coming again."My dad handed Robert a bottle of wine. "Thanks. Imma need it with these kids."Robert chuckled. "We'll you take care."They all said there good byes
