Chapter 7 : heartbreaking phone call

Chapter 7

Alexandra's *POV*

From: Unknown

Who are you ?

Okay that's just weird !

And kinda creepy !

I stare at the phone for a while and then it starts to vibrate. Me being smart and all didn't check the caller I.D.

"Yellow !" I say as I start to walk into my kitchen and get some apple juice. I hear someone gasp on the other line. I start pouring the juice.

"Alex ?" Ohhhh.... Liam.

Harry's *POV*

Liam has been showing us pictures of Alex so if we see her outside we... Well kidnap her ? I guess. Me, Niall, Zayn and Louis decided we would stay here for sometime... Maybe not until we find her but until Liam has accepted the fact that his sister doesn't answer the phone.

So we're all watching Brave which is a Disney movie and Lou is always checking his phone... Weird. Suddenly Liam stands up.

"I'm gonna try again." He says in a dead voice. We all exchange worried glances but let him try to call her. Although we know she won't answer.

Liam's *POV*

Soon I'll call the police or somet-

"Yellow !" I finally hear her voice and I freeze.

"Alex ?" I manage to choke out and then I lean my back on the next wall I see and slide down until I'm sitting on the floor with tears in my eyes.

"Shit..." She mutters. "Liam ?" She asks although I think she knows it's me.

The tears start falling.

"Please... Please don't hang up." I say in my broken voice.

Alexandra's * POV*

"Please... Please don't hang up." I hear him say and I can hear how hurt he is by the sound if his voice. I sit down by on the couch. Breath in... Breath out... Breath in I remind myself so I don't freak out.

"Okaay." I say slowly unsure if I should be talking to him.

"Finally you answered I was starting to get worried." He says and I can hear him taking deep breaths on the other line. I was going to say something but he beat me to it.

"I am trying to picture what you look like but it's been what 2-3 years ?" He says and he just sound broken. This is why I didn't want to answer the phone for him he'll make me all guilty and I'll come back. But that will not happen !

"Liam why are you calling ? I thought me ignoring your calls was a clear sign." I say and take a sip of my apple juice.

Liam's *POV*

"Liam why are you calling ? I thought me ignoring your calls was a clear sign." She says and then everything gets quiet, I don't even hear the boys.

"I just didn't want to believe it I guess." I answer her truthfully.

"Alexandra why don't you just come over and we can talk." I add.

"Liam no ! I am not going to okay ? You wanted to hear my voice ? Here it is but I am not coming over." She says and then hangs up.

I feel so broken without my baby sister... So empty.

Niall's *POV*

"He sure is taking his time do you think she answered ?" Harry asked. We all looked at each other.

"Let's check." Zayn says as he stands up and pulls his pants up. We agree and walked upstairs to see Liam sitting on the floor tear stained face and the phone pressed up to his ear. It is heart breaking to see him like this.

"Alexandra why don't you just come over and we can talk." We hear him say t the phone. I look at the guys and the have shock written all over their faces. We look at him again to see that he had dropped his phone and pulled his knees to his chest and wrapped his arms around them and cried.

We all ran to him and hugged him.

"She hung up." He says between sobs.
