(17) DUAL CELEBRATION

Celebrations, some come to us according to their time, and for some we create the opportunity. Both are special at their places. We can't compare in between them, and at the same time we can't control our happiness if we are going to have the both reasons for any celebration. An occasion like that was about to grace Indraprastha.

It had been one week since Draupadi had started her year with Arjun. The pace in between them was quite smooth, and was paving the path for proceeding their couple life.

At the end of week it was Subhadra's birthday, her first birthday after returning from kanyakul. This birthday was expected to be celebrated in Dwarka, but the place was Indraprastha surprisingly. Arjun had suggested Yudhishthir to celebrate his home coming party on that day to make Subhadra's first birthday with him as a memorable one.

Invitations were sent to friendly kingdoms and relatives. Preparations had lavishness at the top place among preferences. After all the first birthday of new daughter in law of Indraprastha and happiness of Arjun's home coming, both the opportunities deserve to be remembered worthily till long.

Kanha and dau had arrived one day before the occasion. Subhadra's first birthday which they could celebrate together after so long, their excitement was different regarding that birthday of hers.

"We never expected this day at here, Gudiya. Your this birthday should have graced Dwarka," Dau handed hair pins to Kanha to put on Subhadra's hairs while making her ready on her birthday.

"I know now this place is too your home, and I appreciate the affection this family have for you. Still I had wished it would have been Dwarka," Dau handed the bangles to Subhadra.

"I understand your emotions, Dau. Now nothing can be changed. We should cherish the fact that we three are together on my birthday. Happiness with the least is the best," Subhadra consoled dau making him peck on her hairs out of admiration.

"Why are you chuckling, Kanha?" Dau glared at Kanha who was a silent audience in the scenario.

"What kind of brother you are dau! You have objection that your younger brother is chuckling! You should thank the reason of my chuckle, but instead of that you are questioning over that!" Kanha showered his exclamations without replying.

"Dau, you don't love me as much as you love Gudiya, but at least don't show that in your attitude," Kanha made a sad face which obviously had no affect on dau.

"Stop showing your skills in drama. If you wish I can express my love to you," Dau tightened his wrist bands frightening Kanha.

"Don't take my those words seriously, Dau. Whole world knows about your love for me. You love me like romanticism loves spring season," After speaking Kanha was scared about dau's reaction, but he laughed at his Kanha's words along with Subhadra.

"Like romanticism loves spring season! Seriously Kanha! It was funnily amazing," Dau complimented while laughing.

"By the way I was chuckling over that fact that while complaining to Gudiya you seem like a kid. I was adoring you both dau," Saying so Kanha pulled his siblings into a warm embrace.

"Happiest birthday, Gudiya! You are looking so gorgeous in choices of your sisters in law," Dau wished and complimented Subhadra.

"Dau, I think we too had chosen some accessories for Gudiya which she is wearing," Kanha wasn't ready to lose his share of praising.

"Ok, in all of our choices. Now happy, Kanha!" Kanha nodded at dau like a child.

After that the trios went outside. Everyone wished Subhadra, and presented their gifts except Arjun.

"Parth, where's your gift?" Kanha whispered to Arjun.

"I will present my gift to her in privacy," Arjun too whispered his answer.

"Privacy! Do you know to whom you are talking about privacy? Have some shame. I am her brother," Kanha faked an unpleasant tone.

"You are taking me wrong, Madhav. I don't have any other intention about privacy. It's just about presenting my gift to her even without being around her," Arjun cleared Kanha's misconception.

"So, you won't be around when she will get the gift presented by you! Then it's fine," Arjun sighed deeply at Kanha's words.

In afternoon Duryodhan, Dushashan and Shakuni reached at Indraprastha on behalf of Hastinapur royal family. Yudhishthir along with draupadi welcomed them.

"Subhi, be aware of them," Arjun alerted Subhadra being protective.

"I don't get intense evil vibes from bhrata Duryodhan. Rest two gets fit into the category to be aware of," Subhadra expressed her opinion.

"Bhrata Duryodhan is a good person for the whole world excluding our family," Arjun was sounding hopeless about Duryodhan.

"Family should remain united always no matter how much the geographical distance is!" Subhadra spoke looking at Arjun.

"It is impossible to be true in our case. Due to this division some persons are there in Hastinapur who are affectionate to us, but still resides away from us. Grandsire Bhisma, Guru Drona, Kulguru Kripacharya, it had been so long to see them," Arjun sighed deeply to calm himself.

"Subhi, have rest for sometimes before the party begins," Caressing her hairs affectionately he left from hall following the guests arrived few times ago.

Subhadra went to her chamber. She sat on bed relaxing herself. Then a letter caught her attention which was kept in between the pillows of bed.

She untied that letter. She was initially happy while reading the letter, but when she reached at the end astonishment replaced her happiness.

"Arya has asked this to me! He wants this!" Her eyes were a bit wider at the time those words escaped from her mouth.
