AS BEN sat quietly in the dressing room, with the 5 minutes spare tuchel had given the team to rest before heading out on the ground to train, he came off Yasmin's page and placed his phone down.
"You okay bro?" hakim blurted out, looking concerned for the boy whose eyes gazed into the distance.
Ben's teammates had realised he hasn't been himself recently, Ever since his fight with Amelia, He's been distant and quiet. Even though what they fought "wasn't that deep", he felt extremely low about the words exchanged between the two.
Amelia was quite the same, she didn't blame Ben for acting the way he did, In his defence, She lied about going to her ex's birthday and getting close with him. Ben had no problem with Amelia going places, but he had to know where and who would be there as he wasn't a big fan of her ex Marvin (Fredo). The RAPPER has been known for trying to break up the pair for nearly two years, his efforts never go unnoticed.
"I'm so drained, mentally" he muttered.
Hakim knew about the fight so he didn't need to ask any unknowing questions because he was there when it happened. "Ben, I know what you're facing right now, and you have every right to be upset but are you sure that you're just upset because of Amelia?"He responds.
He simply asks this question because Amelia wasn't the only girl in his life that gave him problems and his sorrowful feelings may have come from that.
"I don't know anymore" he answers holding his head in his arms. Hakim then pulls him up from the slacking making sure he could still see his face for the advisable words he was about to let out.
"Come on Ben, talk to Ami at least, let her know how you feel about this and then go on from there." he persisted "and while you're at it you should talk to Yasmin as well" he continued as he stood up from the bench after hearing tuchels call to let them know it's time to train. Ben then thought well and hard about what hakim had said to him and considered it.
