Riverdale High, where do I start when explaining this school a lot can happen in one day if you were to miss school. Take Reggie Mantle one day he's scoring touchdowns another day he's selling all the types of drugs you could imagine, Amphetamines, Baclofen, Modafinil, and the new holy grail Jingle-jangle I would be lying if I said I didn't try a least one of them. But that is a different story for a different time. The River Vixens, Riverdale's cheer/Dance team everyone wanted to be HBIC but Cheryl only wanted the title for herself and when Veronica stole it from her, I'm pretty sure if Cheryl had the power to do so she would have us practice all day and all night that's how serious she was about this team.
Me, Betty, and Veronica walked into the gym where the Vixens where practicing in our uniforms
"Humpty, Dumpty, and Callie, Just in time to meet our newest recruit" Cheryl exclaims
"In addition to my duties as a pussycat and, I just wanted to say, girls, I'm so excited to work on my moves and to be a team player, as long as I'm in the front" Josie explains I never liked Josie she just wants everyone's attention and to have the spot light be on her all of the time and you can never catch a break when you're with her.
"Wait, Cheryl, does that mean you're taking the Vixens back from me?" Veronica asks
"But, really, Veronica, were they ever yours" Cheryl asks
"Cheryl, we were wondering if maybe the Vixens would help at an event to save Pop's." Betty says
"Oh, Betty I did not emerge from the frozen depths of Sweetwater River, nor the flames of thornhill, to allow my Vixens to sling milkshakes at some death-cursed diner. The answer is a double-cherry-on-top no." Cheryl says with that creepy smile she always has
"Okay" I said
"Great Talk" Veronica says we walked over to where everyone else was and started stretching which is pointless on my part but whatever Cheryl wants Cheryl gets.
\Time Skip
Me and my mom were on the couch she was researching what happened with Ms. Grundy when Betty and Archie walked in asking to speak with my mom.
"You're twitching, Archie. Which mean this must be serious" Mom says
"I think the same person who shot my dad may ave murdered Ms. Grundy" Archie says
" My, My. We've come a long way since dances at the school gym and varsity football tryout, haven't we?" Mom say
"You were the first to know about Jason's autopsy mom" I said
"So Archie is wondering if-" Betty starts to say but then gets cutoff
"If I can get details on Ms. Grundy's death and see if they line up with the attack on Fred." Mom says
"It would be really helpful to put Archie's mind at ease" Betty says
"Fine. I'll reach out to my ghoulish friend." Mom says
"Thank you Mrs. Cooper." Archie says
"Mm" mom replies
"Thanks Betty, I should go" Archie says
"I'll call you Arch" Betty says
"Spreading ourselves a little thin as the patron saint of lost causes aren't we, Betty?" Mom asks Betty gives my mom a confused look
