I grab my BPS hoodie and happily run out to the back, knocking on the van happily. Jonah smiled and let me inside, giving me some snacks and iced coffee. Jonah laughed, saying "it's your first day on the job, Levi, you need that coffee." I smile. Jonah has been helping me out with all of the necessaries meanwhile Adam was somewhere else...
"Hey, Levi, What's with the face?"
I gasp a bit and jump, causing Jonah to laugh at my anxious self. I chuckle, finding it funny that i'm suddenly jumpy. I take a sip of the coffee he gave me before he started to talk. "Hey, Levi, I'm gonna go somewhere, 'Kay? Ima be back soon, just... finding somewhere easy for us to find ghosts." I felt the red flags come into place. Why was he leaving me here..? All alone? I shrug it off. "Alright, see you in a bit, Jo!" I respond happily, and he closes the door, leaving me alone.
I get reminded of Sarah. She went missing a few days ago, and I was curious to try finding her. I look out the window, watching the sun set. "Don't worry, Levi.." I try to calm my fears, "It's only for a little bit. soon you'll be back in the van."
God, I wish I stayed in that damn van...
I set out into the woods, holding my small flashlight. I look around before seeing some sort of red light in the distance. Curiosity overflows in me and i walk over to it, seeing it was red lanterns lit up, along with a rock-based entrance. I check if anyone is nearby, and i walk in. i look to my right, seeing sleeping huts and people sleeping in them. I look to my left, seeing a few farms and what looks to be workshops for resources. I had a pit in my stomach as i walked further in this camp, looking around for people and turning off my flashlight.
I then saw a massive statute of some sort of angelic god with their eyes hollowed out. I glare at it before noticing some sort of shrine to the far right of it. I walk in. What i saw next was an absolute beauty.
There was an intricate hallway of sorts, with banners holding symbols that i have never seen before stamped on them. there was a red velvet carpet in the middle with golden edges, and i walked forward on them. there was a stage with a huge stained glass painting in the back with a glowing red eye on a crown. My curiosity peaked as i walked closer, before...
"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?"
My heart almost leapt out of my chest as I freeze. the voice sounded... familiar. Eerily familiar. I spin around to see Jonah, but he's in a weird cape. it was red with white outlines on it, as well as a few chains dangling off of it. His eyes were red and slightly angered. Fear consumed me as he continued yelling at me. "Who are you and what are you doing in our temple!?" A female voice rang, and a girl with long, brown hair came out. She was wearing a BPS hoodie but it had red highlights instead of yellow, and a red jacket wrapped around her waist. She had two swords in their satchels resting on her backs, as well as a weird cape sitting along her shoulders with the same red and white details on it. she was wearing a nice hat as well as an animal mask to the side of her face, with the same glowing red eyes Jonah has.
She glared at me as I finally realized who she was; She was Sarah Heathcliff. Sarah had gone missing a few days ago. "Sarah?" I ask, but her eyes seemed more enraged as she walked to me. "How do you know my name!?" She asked loudly. "We... we're childhood friends, Sarah... d-don't you remember?" I say, but Jonah looks over at me. "She doesn't remember you, Levi. Her memory has been wiped since she joined the cult." I looked over at Jonah with disbelief, but before I could speak, Someone walked in.
I immediately recognized Adam, but his outfit was way different from the one I saw him in yesterday. He was wearing an elaborate coat with chains on it (like Jonah's), and a crown with a glowing red eye was sitting on top of his head. he wore the same hoodie Sarah was wearing, and there was a beautiful (yet sharp) spear he held on his back.
I was surprised at how different they all looked, but then Adam said this;
