Minji opened the rooftop door, allowing everyone else to enter before her. "Thank you,"

"Let's give Heesoo a moment to settle in. I'm going to show her what to keep and what to delete. Hang tight, everyone," Minji announced.

You set down your bag and opened the camcorder, trying to decide which setting would be best for outdoor filming.

'This one?' you ponder, 'or that one?'

"The first," Minji said, appearing beside you. "Thank you. I wanted to choose the one that best suited your needs."

She giggled, her hand resting unconsciously on yours on the camcorder strap, pulling it slightly into her line of sight.

You looked at her. "So, what do you think? Should I stay stationary or add some dynamism with movement?"

"Let's infuse this one with some vitality," Minji said, distracted by the recording playing before her. You nodded slowly, handing the camcorder to her.

"Danielle?" you called out. "Yes?" Danielle responded. "I need you to keep everyone occupied for now. I have to run to the camera club to get something."

She was already ushering you out the door, signaling her agreement. "How could I forget? I should've had a new one in my bag," you muttered.

The sound of your shoes and your swift descent down the stairwell echoed through the space.

You should have changed your memory card this morning. It had been at least a couple of days since you last checked, and with how you've handled things, the videos might be cut short.

'How could I be so forgetful?'

Opening the door to the second floor, you search for room B-four. Upon finding the club's assigned room, you rummage through one of the tall cabinets.

"Aha!"

"Heesoo?"

Glancing over your shoulder, you can barely make out the broad silhouette of a tall figure.

"I was looking for you. I've been meaning to ask you something," he says, leaving the door ajar behind him.

As much as you'd like to stay, time wouldn't permit it. "Lunch is about to end, and I have places to be and things to do. I'm sorry."

You attempt to walk past him, but his arm abruptly blocks your path. "Please?" his voice is persuasive.

"Fine."

"Listen, I know this is sudden, but I wanted to ask if you ever see someone who isn't there. It's like you're talking to some ghost."

"What? Why would you bring this up all of a sudden?"

"I don't know. I just want a reason to convince others that you're not just some crazy girl and that you're worth talking to."

"Is that why you started talking to me? To prove a point?"

"No, that's not it. You deserve the chance to befriend anyone you wish. You don't have to be an outcast anymore, Heesoo."

"You think I'm an outcast?"

He stares at you dumbfounded.

"I thought you were different from the rest," you scoff.

"But it turns out you're just another popular groupie who thinks they can change the world with sweet talk and charm."

"What are you two doing?" Minji asks from the doorway, making him turn.

"Nothing, I was just leaving," you say, glaring at him one last time before storming out, dragging Minji by the wrist.
