Liar Dance

"Kaito? What are you doing here?" Len asked full of confusion as Kaito stares at him with widened eyes and pale skin, it's as if he'd seen a ghost!
"Ah! Len! Your here!" Kaito chuckled to himself, he cleared his throat and smiled at Len "I was just checking something, I just needed to be sure you know! After all, you know how Gakupo has been lately." Kaito explain and he patted Len's shoulder as he walks by "I'll trust you with the rest for today, It's late you know!" Kaito said as he walks away.

Len was in a daze as Kaito sped by Len went to go into the room when he noticed something on the ground that Kaito must have dropped. "Huh?" Len bend over and picked up the paper in the plastic bag Gasp! "No way!! This can't be right!!! That means...!!!!"

The package that Kaito had dropped was the fingerprints from the scene and when Len went to go check if it was who he thought it was.

And just as suspected the fingerprints from the crime scene was no other than Miku! But what was even more suspects is the reaction from Kaito and what was he even doing there. "No way he wouldn't!" Len ran in the police station and looked around only to find that Kaito was no where to be found and Gakupo was away at a meeting and the realization hit Len like a slap to the face.

Kaito is working with Miku!

Stumbling on his self Len went to chase after Kaito and didn't even bother to call for backup.

On the outskirts of the city, the stars was shining in the sky and the moon brighten the sky as a big bonfire crackling beneath the big sky. The ones in charge of the bonfire stood in the hot heat of the flames, the case files were feed into the fire which eat the pages and evidence with a quick pace.

"Dance with me you liar~ I'm going to take us higher! Only you, only me we're as guilty as they come through our love is wrong!" Kaito sang as he dances with Miku in the bask of the bonfire destroying all the damning evidence against them.
"Now I got you liar~ Our punishment and crime will never go away~ No! It's far too late~" Miku sang with him being dipped in his arms.

A car drove unto the scene and Len hopped out of the police car in horror of the giant bonfire before him burning the very things he needs and Len helplessly turned his gaze at the partners in crime standing there smugly. Len opened his mouth but to no avail as none of the words he wanted to say would come out and wordlessly Kaito held up his badge and tossed it near the center of the bonfire "Look at the moon in the sky! Because this is goodbye!" Kaito said though his tone gave away what his words didn't.

And Len couldn't help but watch as Kaito and Miku speed off in a speedy race car as Kaito's badge shone in the overwhelming lights as Len falls to his knees watching his mentor and the stolen jewelry leave from his sight.
