Jealousy and Paranoia [Lydia/Ijin]

Summary: Lydia never was a jealous person until she broke up with her now-ex-boyfriend. Ever since her newest relationship, she's realized that she has a hard time with her new boyfriend being away at college with all the other girls he could be talking to.

Especially one girl in particular.

Multiple times Lydia panicked over said girl, and Ijin being there for her. Just....Lydjin fluff. That is all.

This is loosely, if not almost basically, based off of a conversation I had with BelladonnaAdventures :)

Before Kibou, Lydia never considered herself a jealous person. In fact, she was the exact opposite of jealous...Whatever that was. But now that she had Ijin in her life, things were different. Kibou really messed her up; he and Lydia had an awful, extremely unhealthy relationship.

Kibou was verbally and mentally abusive to Lydia, and physically abusive to her dog, Oriane. But for the longest, Lydia had on rose-tinted shades, and still loved him despite never getting anything from him. No love, no affection, and barely ever spending time with him.

They broke up because Lydia had a long journey to take, and Kibou couldn't "handle long distance". At least, that was his excuse.

Turned out he was cheating on Lydia with another girl. And got that said other girl pregnant.

So she had every reason to be jealous. She was scared that Ijin was going to do the same thing that Kibou did, no matter how many times he promised he wouldn't.

It wasn't that she didn't trust him, because she did, she just constantly needed reassurance.

Ijin's been in college for a couple of months now. He returns home after classes every day, but he's on campus all day. The scary part for Lydia is that he's surrounded by other people. She didn't mind his guy friends, his sister, or other girls that she knew didn't like him, but there was one girl in particular she really got jealous around.

Yuna.

One of Ijin's sister, Dayun's, closest friends.

Yuna has had a crush on Ijin for a while. She doesn't know if Ijin knows, but she knows that Yuna has a crush on him.

That's her boyfriend she has a crush on.

And she didn't like that. If she made any sort of move on him...if he returned that...

No. She couldn't think about that. He said that he wouldn't, right?

Lydia began to get a little paranoid. She grabbed her phone that Ijin had gifted her, quickly going to her messages and sending him one.

Hey, what's up?

Waiting...

She saw that he was typing back almost instantly.

Hanging out with friends, wbu?

She let out a sigh, thinking of how to respond back.

Nothing really. Who are you with?

Simple enough, right? It can't be that suspicious...

I'm with Ka, Dayun, and Dayun's friend... Why?

Oh, if only she could tell him what she was really thinking. She knew who Ka was–Kazuhiko, Ijin's roommate–and who Dayun was, but was Dayun's friend who she thought it was?
