I let out a long sigh as I pushed the heavy door open "hello anybody here" I said with no response coming back to me. "Well, I guess not " I mentally tell myself. I continue to walk through the vacant pawn shop looking around, the things that were there the first time are now gone probably stolen by desperate people trying to ease the pain. Then I stumbled upon it a small box hidden under the desk I ripped it off. It was still there the ring, the ring was still as beautiful as it was he first gave it to me when times were good and it felt like Niragi loved me.

Flashback

"This is for you," Niragi said as he handed me a black velvet box, I let out a small chuckle and accepted the box "You're not proposing to or something are you?", he looked at me with a look I haven't seen before it almost looked like regret or anger. " no im not and its a promise ring," he said with a light shade of pink dusting his cheeks. " okay then what's the promise," I said with a smirk on my face he blushed harder and mumbled something under his breath "what was that?" I said with a smug look on my face," I said it's the promise that i'll never hurt you, the same one I made on our first date". Now it was my turn to blush as I opened the velvet box and slid the ring on my ring finger' "thank you" he looked at me and smiled "your welcome princess"...

Niragi's face faded as I came back to my senses as I picked up the box while taking it out of the box, mine had a small gem in the middle and Niragi's which he always wore around his neck was plain, just a gold band. I don't know why he still wears it, it used to give me hope that he still loved me, but now I think he just wears it for decoration.
