Sleep. Ash loved sleep. In fact, sleep was the thing that kept Ash sane throughout his journey. He'd come to treasure it, a safe haven, he thought of it as.
"WAKE UP EVERYBODY!" Unfortunately for Ash, it felt like Taylor smashed his safe haven into pieces.
"TAYLOR IT IS 4 AM!" The screams of multiple contestants could be heard from the rooms. Ash just sighed and got up, not wanting to meet Giratina in the Distortion World.
After changing out of his pajamas, Ash walked into the hallway, trying to ignore Misty's hateful mumbling. On his way downstairs, he walked past Serena, who's hair more or less resembled a mangled beehive. He waved to her, taking note of the light red blush that seemed to form on her cheeks as he walked by.
Finally, he reached the kitchen on the first floor, pouring himself a bowl of cereal before taking a seat, conveniently next to Taylor, who looked no different then she did the day before.
"Hey, Taylor." He said, trying to force himself to stay awake. "Why're you having us wake up so early?"
"Hello, Ash." She said with a smile on her face. "You guys have to wake up early because we get started with Truth or Dare at 6!"
"Oh, well, why do we start playing Truth or Dare so early?"
"Does this entire thing sound like it's supposed to be fun for you guys?"
"..."
"What, did I say something?"
Thankfully for Ash, before anything could get more awkward, an alarm started to ring. Taylor's grin immediately widened farther.
"It's time!" She got up and walked over to a phone of some sort, dialed a few numbers, and put the phone up to her lips. "Our first Truth or Dare session will be starting now! Please head to the central room before I send you to the Distortion World!"
Ash decided that it was best to follow the crazy woman's orders.

The central room, as it turned out, was in the very center of the mansion. Fitting name, at least. It also happened to be very empty, as well.
Ash and Taylor were the first two people to reach the room. Taylor snapped her fingers and exactly 16 chairs rose out of the ground in a perfectly circular pattern. Ash's jaw dropped to the floor.
After that slightly weird incident, more and more of the crew started to show up, and Taylor began directing them to specific seats. Once everyone was in their seat, she spoke up. "Welcome to Truth or Dare, everybody."
When nobody replied, she continued. "Today, we'll be doing the first few rounds, starting with dares that were specifically requested by members of the audience!"
Dawn looked confused. "The audience? I don't see anybody here!"
Taylor was prepared for a question like this. "You can't see them, but they're there, watching your every move." A chill ran through Dawn's spine.
"Whatever, the first question from the audience we received was from iturgurllawin, and is actually for everyone!" Taylor exclaimed happily. Bonnie looked confused.
"Wait, how can a dare be for everyone!" Bonnie exclaimed. "I thought they were supposed to be for one person only!"
"Well, this isn't a dare, it's a Truth. They're different!"
"Aww!" Bonnie looked heartbroken. "But I wanted to tease Ash and Serena!" On the other side of the room, a certain honey blonde's face turned as red as a tomato.
"Don't worry, Bonnie," Taylor began, sparking hope in Bonnie's mind. "You'll get plenty of chances to tease them in the future!"
Bonnie's face lit up, but Taylor wasn't done speaking. "For now, however, we have a few truths and dares that were recommended by people beyond the fourth wall, so we'll do those first. You can do whatever you want after they're done, however."
You could probably sense Bonnie's excitement from a mile away. "Ooh, ok! Let's get on with the game!"
"I like the way you think! The question for everyone goes as follows: 'What is everyone's favorite Pokémon! Also, what is the favorite Pokémon that you've caught?"
Taylor turned to Ash, "Let's start with you, Ash." Ash didn't even hesitate for one second. "Well, my favorite Pokémon is obviously Pikachu! He's been my faithful partner since day one, and I wouldn't trade him for anything!" Several 'awws' could be heard around the room.
"Good answer, Ash! Now, let's spin the wheel to see who answers next!" The sound of a wheel spinning can be heard in the distance. Brock seemed confused by this.
"Wait, so if the question was for everyone, then why are you spinning the wheel to decide who goes next?" Brock asked, narrowing his eyes as much as he could towards Taylor.
"Well, we have a lot of truths and dares to go through, and not a lot of time to go through them! We can only do up to three per chapter, and I don't want a single one to take up the entirety of it!"
Nobody decided to question the fourth wall break, and instead moved on to how long the wheel was taking to spin.
"For Mew's sake, how long is that wheel going to take?" Paul was growing sick of the place already. "I don't have all day, I have to train my Pokémon for 12 hours a day to keep them in shape."
A loud ding could be heard as the wheel finally chose another person to answer. "Ooh, Dawn! What about you?"
"Well this is pretty easy!" Dawn seemed delighted. "My favorite Pokémon is Piplup! He's just so perfect!" She exclaimed while petting the Penguin Pokémon's head.
Piplup loved the attention.
The wheel landed on Bonnie next, who simply said the word "Dedenne" twice. When asked to elaborate, she stated "I'm not good at describing things!"
"Sure you aren't, you just want to go through this quick so you can get to the next turn!" Taylor accused, Bonnie guiltily sighed.
After that, the wheel landed on Tracey, who pulled out a notebook and began sketching a picture of Marill while talking about all the things he loved about it. It was a good sketch.
While Tracey was finishing up with the sketch, Taylor spun the wheel for the final time. It seemed to be taking longer than usual, so Ash decided to speak up.
"How long does the wheel take to spin? It feels like we've been here forever!" He proclaimed, feeling restless.
"Oh, it's building up tension for the final spin, because why not?" Taylor stated, excited to see who it'd land on. Ash groaned.
Eventually, the wheel finally landed on somebody, Drew, for that matter. Drew simply smirked. "My Roserade is just perfect." He turned to May, still smirking. "My favorite memory with it is when I destroyed your Beautifly at Slateport!"
It took multiple people to restrain May, who had the look of an angry grizzly bear in her eyes. "DREW GET OVER HERE!" She shouted, trying to swing at him. Drew walked up to her, poked her nose, and sat back down. May's face was red for two separate reasons at that point.

A/N #2
I was originally going to do the first 3 asks in a single chapter, but the chapter was getting too long for my liking. So, I'm splitting this up into two chapters! The next chapter will be out sometime before New Year's. Until then, thank you guys for reading!(chapter written on December 28, 2022)
