Love
Its the craziest thing
You fall in love
You lose interest
Or you both get hurt
But then you fall in love again
and you've been led on
They told you they loved you
again
and again
and again
But they don't mean it
They say "You're just a friend"
But you feel something more
More than friends
More than that
Stronger than that
Love
It makes you do the craziest things
From ditching your friends
To ditching your family
But your family finds out
And their family finds out
And then its over
As quick as that
No warning
No goodbye
Nothing
You'll meet someone in your life
And you'll think to yourself
Maybe they're the one?
Do I want to spend
the rest of my life with this person?
Maybe
Maybe not
Love
It really makes you feel the craziest
You listen to cheesy love songs
Until the person hurts you
and you feel like its over
You want it to be over
But the love you feel for this person
is too strong and you
just can't let them go.
But then you break up
they find someone else
and you're left there thinking
What could I have done to make them stay?
What could I have done differently?
When in reality they just lost interest
And they thought it was the best thing for you
Just to leave you alone.
After leading you on.
Leading someone on is never okay
