Leominster High School. That is all that she had to say. Ashley Stone sat on the ice cold pavement waiting for the bus. Yeah. Cold, a little happy, and very scared. Just perfect. Plus, wearing an outfit that is meant to be on a model the first day of school isn't the best way to be thought of. Earlier that day her mother had stated:
"Your first impression is the one that counts. It matters the most. It is what the girl wears, not how she sounds or feels. If you want to get a boyfriend, you have to dress to impress."
When her mother said it, the words sounded important and cool. Now, Ashley was sitting in the cool morning, with a breeze to give her frostbite, in the middle of January. Thanks mom!
A big, long, yellow bus pulled up to the pavement and screeched to a stop. Ashley stood up and dusted off her now wrinkled dress and got on the bus. The seats were the same color as the hard pavement she had been sitting on. Ashley looked up to see every eye in the vehicle to be upon her.
"Hello," she managed.
A boy came up to her, and said his name was Tyler. Damn! He was hot!!!
No matter how many times Ashley looked at him, he was still the angel that she loved him for.
She got to class just in time. Almost missing the bell as she stumbled in. Wow! There where so many people in that one room.
"Hi. Miss... Stone," said a strange man. He looked nice enough that he wouldn't be mad at her for almost being late.
"Um...... Hi. I am very sorry for being late. Mr..."
"My name is Mr. Smith. I am your home room teacher. I am also your science teacher. Well Ashley, I hope that we can make you feel at home," the strange man replied.
Apparently, he was the teacher. Strange how things work here.
"Well... take a seat."
Everyone wouldn't take their eyes off of me. I was a little unnerved. Maybe they would look away. very eyeball in the room, even the teacher's, was on me. Creepy.
The bell rang again and we were dismissed. Mr. Smith showed me a girl, her name is Sarah Stroganoff. She was to be my tour guid for the day. We soon became best friends after I told here where my parents work. Apparently, they are very popular here.
So. That is what my mom meant as in everyone would want to be my friend. I turned many people down. No one was good enough to be my friend. I wasn't good enough to be theirs! They all thought that it was them, so I let them keep thinking that instead if telling.
Haha. Suckers!
The bell rang. Dismissing us all.
My next class. Room 207. Mr. Rogan.
