The lonely field tiller

The desert has cooled down and winds have calmed. The ruin guard awoke to the view of a vast night sky. As the ruin guard looks down one little fungi was sitting on it's legs sleeping as it seemed. The ruin guard didn't have much to do so it stood there and watched the little fungi slumber. Then the fungi awoke and was startled to see the ruin guard starting at it, the ruin guard was startled too. They both look at each other the fungi smiling and the ruin guard with a confused look but both meant no harm towards each other. As the sun started to rise the ruin guard started to make its move perhaps to explore the desert more and the fungi decides to follow along as it too has nothing to do. They walk through the desert for miles till night, in the middle of the desert the fungi falls as it was exhausted from jumping through the desert all day. The ruin guard decides to settle with the fungi as it too was drained.
