Enäi sat between Neteyam and Lo'ak. She held her arms on the height of her chest and breathed like her sister described it to the Sully kids. They were learning how to 'breathe'.
From the outside she might have looked like she had some fun, but inside she wished to dive together with Marëa. She wanted to leave, but Tsireya argued with her until she said yes and stayed for the breathing exercise.
"Breath in." Roxto, who stayed as well breathed in the same way she did. He made movements that should encourage the others to try it. Aonung had somehow got out of this. Lucky bastard. The girl thought, as she looked at the people sitting around her.
She had nothing against the Sullys she just had other plans with Marëa. She wanted to swim on her own. They had done a little trip, with Tuk, her sister and Kiri, who had taught herself how to ride an Ilu earlier.
Kiri was really nice. Enäi had a little chat with her and they had a good bond. "And breath out." Everyone breathed out, slowly. Roxto tried to show them with his hands how it was done right. He had never been so kind to her, not in all of her sixteen years. Until now she didn't even know that he could be nice.
"You must slow down your heartbeat." Enäi tried to show them as Roxto did, but she felt so awkward, while doing it, that she didn't even realize that Lo'ak looked at her from time to time. Tsireya leaned towards him and put a hand to his heart and the other on his belly, as she noticed he was struggling.
Or rather not paying attention, because he was busy staring at Enäi. "Breath in." Enäi watched him from the corner of her eye as he took a deep breath, staring straight ahead, trying to focus. "Breath from down here." Her sister said in her typical calm and kind voice.
"Breath out slowly." Enäi caught herself staring at Lo'ak and Tsireya, so she fixed her eyes on the water behind Kiri and blinked a few times. Neteyam and Roxto beside her chuckled. She noticed that and turned her head to them and tilted it.
That's why, she didn't see how Lo'ak looked at her. His heartbeat quickened and Tsireya said. "Lo'ak, your heartbeat is fast." He looked away from the girl, that sat to his left and apologized quietly. "Sorry." "Try to focus." "Okay."
While Tsireya continued trying to help Lo'ak. His older brother tried to contain his laughter at how Enäi and Lo'ak stared at each other, to look away and the other looked. Roxto chuckled with him. "What?" The girl, they laughed about asked.
"Nothing." "Why are you laughing?" "It's nothing." She nodded slowly and turned back only for Lo'ak to look away again. For a few seconds she fought with herself, if she should leave or stay. "I gotta go." She said and stood up.
"Okay, I'll see you later." Tsireya said and smiled at her- Lo'ak looked up at her, smirked and said. "See ya." Enäi stared at him for a second and he stared back. "Okay." Her face showed a 'aha' expression. Then she walked away and he watched as she disappeared on the beach. One time she turned back and saw him looking at her, but she turned quickly and looked rather confused why she even turned.

Swimming with Marëa made her feel better. Yet she laid on her back and thought about 'sup and see ya. How stupid he smirked and nodded his head at her. What was even more stupid felt, was that she thought about it at all.
Too proud to ask what 'sup meant or see ya or why he looked at her in that weird ways and why she looked back and why she liked it when he looked at her. Enäi never had a crush, because everyone was mean to her, except her sister, but one can't have a crush on a sister.
