[A/n POV] When Rocky heard his name being called he turned his head a little to look at the door to find a women standing there while fidgeting her fingers. Looking at her posture and eyes he understood she was feeling nervous.
Rocky looked at her with confusion filled eyes and tried to sit up on the bed. Anika noticed his struggle and went towards him to help him. Rocky didn't protest and after getting him all settled in his position comfortably, Anika pulled the chair which was at the edge of the bed to where he was and sat on it.
Rocky was about to ask her something but before he could voice his question out loud, she cutted him by saying
Anika - Before you say anything let me confess somethings. After hearing this you would think that I'm some kind of mad women or lunatic heck I would have also thought that if I was in your place but it is real. It's very real and......you know what just listen carefully please.
Rocky decided to hear her and so without saying anything just nodded his head. Anika took a deep breath to calm her nerves down and told him everything. How she belonged to the timeline of 2018, how Anand Ingalgi came to their news channel and narrated the story of KGF and El Dorado to her aunt and boss, Deepa Hedge. How Vijayendra Ingalgi narrated the story of Rocky after becoming KGF's sultan/king, how she found a time traveling pocket watch and why she wished to be sent back in time. And at last how she saved him.
She told Rocky everything. From start to till now every single piece of information. After finishing, she looked down at her lap while fidgeting her fingers whereas Rocky was surely shocked hearing all of this. If any other person would have been here in his place, they surely would have laugh at Anika for telling that such as abstract theory is real.
But it was Rocky we are talking about. He believed her. From the very childhood only, Rocky knew how to read people and their true emotions as well and he knew the women infront of him was telling the truth. He saw a look of sincerity and honesty in her eyes that most people of this generation doesn't have or had lost it.
Anika - I know you have not believed my story and are probably thinking that I am talking rubbish but ---
Rocky - I believe you.
Anika was shocked to hear him. She thought he wouldn't believe her but he proved her wrong. She thought he would be suspicious of how she knew so much about him and would threatened her. But he just looked at her calmly and said in a husky yet soft tone that he believed her.
Anika - Wha... really! You believe me!?
Rocky - Yes.
Anika - Thank you thank you thank you so much. You don't know how relieved I'm feeling right now. Thank you so much for believing me Rocky.....but wait...why do you believe me?
Rocky - What do you mean?
Anika - Don't mind me, it just I'm curious. People don't believe their own blood sometimes and you believed me, a stranger so easily. Why?
