My family is middle class, and we reside in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. I moved to the United States when I was five years old and I grew up here, therefore even though I was not born here, I am highly fluent in English. I have 2 brothers named Ashish who is 26 and Bishal who 27 and then my mom and dad, even though we are in America we still celebrate hour holidays from Nepal and dress up in traditional cloths in holidays.
It was an early morning when I received the letter for which I had been waiting. My family is so excited to see me this pleased that they ask me questions as I hurry down to them to tell them about the letter I received and what it says. Yo letter ma bhaniko xa ki I'm accepted in the University of Paris ani full scholarship rah dorm singah pahni. My parents were so happy to hear the news but also sad at the same time because there only baby girl is moving over seas to a new place. It's not like they don't have other kids they do but I'm the only girl from 3 kids they have and the youngest. Even my brothers where sad that I was going over seas to study but they knew it was my dream to go to Paris to study so they didn't say anything.
We are at the airport where they are dropping me off and bitting good bye. I told them that they don't need to send me that's much money because I well find a job there and also that they can call me anything if they are worried. All I could see was tears of sand was and joy even in my dads eyes who never cries,that made me laugh but generally happy cause I know he will miss me.
I finally made it to Paris the city of love wow how cool I thought. I smile to my self and took a taxi to the University. Wow it's way larger then what I imagined, I said to myself.
While I was walking I saw a lot of people looking at me like I was a prey but I didn't mind that because I was excited to be in this school. As I was walking down the hall to find the principals office I saw a group of girls in a crowed, but I ignored it and finally found the office, the principal was very nice and calm and she called one of the student to show me around. Hi my name is Katy she said extending her hand, Hi I'm Ashika I said shaking her hand. She showed me around school and most of our class we had together and it turned out that she was also one of my dorm-mates. I placed everything in the dorm and went to class where I saw Katy , she waived at me to come sit with her , there was another girl with her. Hi I'm Kathy she said and I also introduced my self , turned out that she was my other room mate I had so, then after class we headed to canteen to have lunch I told them everything's bout me and they told me about them we were having a great time. To be honest I thought that no body would be my friend because I was here on a scholarship unlike then who were rich, I said, " it's okay because most of the people here are spoiled brats who don't know anything and plus u seem really nice unlike those fake brats ugh how I hate these people here they are all so fake just chasing around guy in the school,Kathy said. We headed to our dorms were we got to know a lot about each other. They were daughters of the billionaire Ian Hart and his super model wife Rosanna Hart, wow I said in excitement as they were really famous. And in return I showed them my culture food and dress and my family photos, how I missed them. We all went to sleepy as it was late.
