I'm gonna try to write and publish something at least once a week, it will mostly be this because this is gonna be my main story I'm working on.

Lizzie's POV

I walked out of the bloody building into Joel's car 'Great his sister's with him' I thought and rolled my eyes. That woman leaned out of the window of that stupid building I'm forced to live in.

"You are not leaving this building dressed like that young lady!" She screamed at me, "You have one week then don't come back here again!"
"Screw you b!tch!" I yelled back at her and gave her the finger while walking towards Joel's car. Kathrine stared at me like I was insane while I got into the passenger seat and gave Joel a kiss while he started to drive.
"Hey babe, guess what," Joel said to me with that special, sparkling, idiotic look in his eyes I love so much.
I smiled at him, adjusted my hair, and bit my lip with my fang, "What?" I asked.
"We're going to a party tonight," He said and pushed his hair back so he could see the road.
"Ooooh can't wait," I said and gave him a long kiss.
"FOCUS ON THE ROAD IDIOT IF YOU CRASH THE LAMBO DADS GONNA BE PISSED!" Kathrine yelled at him.
"Oh come on Kathy it won't hurt anyone, besides you know I can bite," I said and flashed my fangs and claws at her.

The only people who know I'm a cat hybrid are Joel, Kathrine (she only knows because her and Joel are related), Joey, Lauren, and Scott. I hide it to protect me. Everyone hates cats, "they're a danger to society" and "they're souls cursed by our saviors, the witches." The only "good" cats are black cats because "The witches purified them," and of course I'm a calico, that's why my parents made me a stray.

When we arrived at the school me and Joel went to meet with the others in the room Joey paid for for The Midnights. Joey brought some booze and we all got ready for a boring @ss day in classes.

"Well look who showed up, finally," Lauren said and poured two glasses of tequila for me and Joel.
"None for me, alcohol is not my friend during that special week every month," I said, took out my hydroflask, dropped it on my foot, and hissed, "F*ck me!"
Joel then, not so smoothly said, "I'm trying." Everyone laughed until they ran out of breath, but I felt a little embarrassed.
"@sshole," I muttered and clawed at him.

The bell rang and we had to all leave the room for class. I had art and that was my favorite class. The art teacher, Ms. Kakya loves me and I'm really good at art too. Ms. Kakya wanted me to be in the artists showcase last month but it would've ruined my reputation. Ms. Kakya is the only "good" cat hybrid so I guess she's the only other person who knows besides my friends. I took out the piece of art I was currently working on in class, a painting of a cat, a calico like me.

"That's an amazing Job Lizzie, I've never seen you have a painting that good before, you're getting better," Ms. Kakya snuck up on me and peeked behind my shoulder right before the bell rang, "Bye Lizzie!"

I said nothing back. I'm trying to stay alive because in my world, it's kill or be killed so I have no time for friends, only allies. I think that's important for you to know about me. But I know that I want more than this sh!t I have as well but you get what you get. So it's sort of where I got that kill or be killed philosophy in life. From never getting to choose what I have, from being an orphan.

So the end of this chapter you might think is pretty unnecessary but it will come into a sweet moment later in the book! I know this is pretty unnecessary to say but I just feel like since this is a rewritten book then I need to explain little details so you don't feel that this is just a random useless thing in the book because that's why I decided to rewrite it, the whole book was just going to be random useless things. Sometimes I'll add them for fillers but in the beginning of my books everything is important in the long run.
