Coma

This is the day of the first chapter before the first chapter takes place.

Earlier that day

Lauren's POV

I woke up to screaming, Lizzie's screaming.

"You're Just like this because I'm a cat, Lauren's worn these clothes before and you've never said anything about it to her!" Lizzie yelled at Mrs. Akran, the orphanage owner.
"Yeah well you're such a s|ut that something is bound to happen with you and that boyfriend of yours if you're wearing that!" Mrs. Akran yelled back and Scott, who was in the room, had to hold Lizzie back.
"You have one week then you never come back here again!" Mrs. Akran yelled as Lizzie stormed out calling her a B!tch and gave her the finger.

The next day

Joel called me and I immediately answered, I was worried, Lizzie never came back after the party and I called Joel that night but he didn't answer, and after the events that morning who knows what Lizzie could have done.

"Come to the hospital," Joel said and I started to panic, "bring Scott with you."
"What happened?" I asked my voice was quicker and my heart was beating a mile a minute, Lizzie was my best friend (she was also Leader of the midnights so that would mean I would take over for her, she would never let Joel take over for her, she loves him but he would let The Sunrises win for sure) what would I do without her.
"I'll tell you when you get here, it's better that you find out in person, Joey already knows so if you don't come he's gonna text you and that's not gonna be pretty," ajorl answeed that and is hung up.

I grabbed my car keys and yelled for Scott, I filled him in when we were in the car and after ten minutes we got to the hospital.

"What happened to her?!" I asked Joel, I was in panic and honestly I should not have driven here.
"Come in her hospital room with me," Joel said that Scott was just silent, Joel continued, "on the way back, to the orphanage she was in a car wreck, she was badly injured and the doctors said she may never wake up."

I saw Lizzie in a hospital bed with an oxygen mask on her face and an IV in her arm, she was connected to a heart monitor.

"Joel, what happened to Lizzie?"
"Lauren, she's in a coma."

Totally didn't update four times in one week and three times in one day so now i have nothing to update with next week. I spoil you.
