Ghost of Present

Scrooge's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes...my wife felt this way ever since I got with Isabel. Oh, gosh, how would she still love me after what happened to me and Isabel? 

"Ebenezer?" I felt a hand on my shoulder to see Y/n, Candle lady, and Prudence.

"I'm sorry you had to feel that way," I hug my wife who slowly wraps her arms around my neck.

3rd POV

"No, I should be the one apologizing, I betrayed my own sister, hid my feelings, and I'm the worst person ever," Y/n lets go of Scrooge and covers her face with two hands.

"We can't change the past, my love," Scrooge takes Y/n's hands into his.

"Scrooge is right, you can't change the past, but you can learn from it. As well, you can also find a way to fix it in the future," Candle lady said, walking toward them.

Y/n looks Scrooge in the eye, "Maybe we can visit Isabel and give her the right explanation."

Scrooge nods, "After we get out of here,"

The room starts collapsing, "Our time is done, isn't it, miss?" Y/n looks at Candle lady.

"I'm afraid so, Y/n. I was nice knowing you two," Candle lady said.

The couple and Prudence fall as Candle lady floats before joining them. 

"Take us back," Scrooge said. "I'm afraid I can't," Candle lady sad who held an wax umbrella.

"There is no going back, nor changing what has been," Candle lady puts the umbrella lady. "You said so yourself,"

"You can't change the past, but you can learn from it," Candle lady said. "For you own sake, I hope you so, Scrooge."

Y/n grabs Candle lady's hand who reaches for hers aswell, "We'll meet again soon, Y/n."

"No,no,no,no!" Y/n said as Candle lady's hand melts away. 

"Whoo! It really is time to go," Candle lady giggles and puts a smile on her face.

"Farewell, Scrooge and Y/n," Candle lady said.

Her candle lights grows, "No, please! Don't leave us here!" Scrooge shouted out.

"I must. Ooh. I have shown you what was," Candle lady part of her face melts away. "Now another will show you what is,"

"Oh. Ooh."

"Remember what you guys have seen," Candle lady said, "Remember. Learn."

"Change while you still can!"

Candle lady's face starts to melt away infron of Y/n, Scrooge, and Prudence.  Y/n points ahead of another portal making Scrooge gasps. 

"The second, at 2:00."

The three fall into a dark room Y/n groans before standing up, holding her head. Y/n looks beside her to see Scrooge covered of Christmas cakes, then laughs at him. As Prudence licks the icing off his face.

"Need help?" Y/n places her hands on her hips with a smirk, "Why, yes please," Scrooge said.

She holds out her hand as Scrooge grabs it, and lifts him up. Scrooge wipes his pants as Y/n gives Scrooge his night coat back, "Aren't you cold?" Scrooge asked.

"I don't feel cold anymore," Y/n said, she looks around the more.

"Is there anybody there?!" Y/n called out, "Miss...Candle lady?" 

Just then the room lights up, and Y/n looks behind her and sees a giant man sitting on a chair. His eyes opening, and so stands up.

"Who dares disturb my sluber?"

"State thy name and business, punny mortals!"

Two little fairy creatures surrounded the two, Scrooge holds Y/n hold until the big man out of nowhere chuckles.

Confusing Y/n and Scrooge as they look at each other. "I can't..."

"I can't...I can't keep it up," The big man said as he continues laughs.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry...It was her. She dared me," The big man holds out his index finger as the little fairy creature fists bumps it.

"Oh, we do like to have fun here," The big man said, "It's good to see you again, Y/n."

"You too, Present. I'm glad to be back here," Y/n gave him a warm smile. 

Scrooge looks at the big man and then Y/n, "You two know each other!?"

"Well, I wouldn't say we were destiny to see each other..." Y/n said, Present nods.

"But...more like he wanted to meet me, and show me kind of the present of my sister of how she's doing," Y/n rubss her neck.

Present was now behind the couple and brings into a tight hug, "You must be her husband, Scrooge? Welcome, my friend. Welcome."

"Welcome where? Where are we? When am I?" Scrooge asked. 

"Oh, you are in the here and now. In the present!" Present beamed, "Isn't it just fabulous?"

One of the fairy creatures flies toward Y/n and nuzzles on her as she giggles. "It's fine, I suppose," Scrooge said.

"From here, I can go anywhere I please," Present said, "Just so long as it's happening right now."

"And I do so I love to visit."

A glowing globe appears in Present's hands, "You teeny-tiny, tootsy-wootsy, little planet at this time of year, and see how my bestie Y/n is doing."

"Y/n is a perfect example of an actual angel, kind, sweet, and caring," Present smiled.

"And there's you..." Present looks over the globe, looking at Scrooge. The globe disappears.

"The perfect example of the devil himself...Selfish, greedy, and ungrateful of the Christmas spirit," Present frowns at him.

"Secret and solitary an an oyster, you edge along the crowded path of the life," Present telelports on Y/n's shoulder which he was in his tiny form.

"Keeping everyone at a distance," Present gives him a sassy look with his arms cross over his chest.

"Why, you stopped truly living you life so long ago, you might as well be dead," Present said.

"Do not presume to tell me how to live my life," Scrooge said. "I lead a goof life."

"I'm a good man," Scrooge said, Y/n shakes her with a giggle.

Present disappears on Y/n's shoulder, and teleports somewhere. "Ha! A good ma, he says."
