One Day Will Never Come
People say that one day I will wake up and it'll all be gone.
All our laughs and kisses will be withdrawn.
I'll forget his smile and how dimples poked through.
I will no longer sob and cry when I look at his favorite color, blue.
I know people don't want me to be sad,
But I'm not, not even a tad.
I'm here allowing myself to remember every little detail.
I've been re-reading the letters you used to send in the mail.
Because no matter what they say,
I know you will come back to me one day.
I will be sat waiting,
And you won't even have to ask me to remember.
We can skip to the best part and once again be together.
You said it would only be one afternoon,
Yet, it's been two months,
please be back soon.
