These words I have hidden, from deep inside.
No one has seen the truths that I hide.
The dreams I have silenced,
The wishes I'll never revive,
But tonight I will play what is on my mind.
You see I am broken,
Broken and torn inside.
I hide it so well, it's something you'll never find.
But tonight is a full moon,
And tonight there is no gloom,
So tonight will be different, come and don't be at a distance.
For if you are, you won't be able to hear,
The stories I bring, and the poems I have here.
You'll see my trials, my dreams I have crushed.
You'll see that this little girl hasn't grown up.
So let's go ahead and read these words aloud,
It's not like anyone is around to cut you down.
