11:01 AM"Ugh! Where is he! We were supposed to all walk in together as a trio! Wooyoung, text him again if you have too." The silver haired male rolled his brown eyes in annoyance due to his friend's actions. "People are going to think stuff if they saw only two of us walked in together. They're going to spread rumors and rumors turn into drama. We of all people in this entire school need drama right now or even deserve of it."
"He said he'll be missing first period. Apparently he's. . .late. Which is ok! Completely normal right?" Wooyoung sighed. Tossing his cellphone onto the table. Annoyance. Irrigation. No–Envy. The green monster of jealousy was all Hongjoong ever felt towards the missing male he called his "best friend."
Yeosang was all Hongjoong ever wanted to be. Yeosang was the definition of perfect without even trying. He was beautiful. Big brown eyes, beautiful jet black hair, was loved by everyone in the school–due to being friends with Hongjoong obviously. Yeosang's status was just as high as Hongjoong and Wooyoung making the three perfect matches to be friend's.
Everyone knew them not just because of their school popularity, but because of their parent's name's. The three of them came from wealthy families who have made a title for themselves and their children are to follow that exact path after them.
As friendly and close as the three appear to be with each other, they do not get along at all. Separately is an exception, duo's always work out, but all together is just trouble boiling in a pot. Their 'friendship' is solely just for their on building self status along with the fact that their families companies are in some way good partners with one another.
"Ugh! This is so selfish of him, rumors are going to spread and then we are going to have to face consequences. This isn't fair at all." Hongjoong sighed out of anger. He wondered what ever was the reason the silver haired male ever grew despise towards the black haired beauty. He was a well known sweetheart, so what could have rubbed him in the wrong way?
Could it be the fact that he was a much better person than he himself was? Or the fact that he envied a family like Yeosang's over his own? Hongjoong had many flaws, self wise and family wise and he wished so many times to be able to fix them. His ex friend, Park Seonghwa, would always tell him that money is the problem, along with having to live up to such high statuses and reputations. And he hated to admit that he was beginning to finally understand what he ment when saying that.
Infact, Hongjoong hated when Seonghwa told him that, it caused an argument which led to Seonghwa cutting ties with the silver haired male. Which is when Yeosang moved into town and took his place as being friend's with Hongjoong and Wooyoung. Perhaps that could be why Hongjoong hate's Yeosang. Because he wasn't Seonghwa but more his replacement.
Seonghwa was like Hongjoong's anchor. The male helped keep Hongjoong well grounded, he brought that sense of freedom and living with no care in the world whatsoever for Hongjoong that it absolutely ruined him when Seonghwa stopped acknowledging him. Even if the two came from privileged families Seonghwa helped Hongjoong not let it get to his head and act like a brat, he humbled him and Hongjoong would do anything to get the other back and into his life again.
Since then, Hongjoong's attitude and entire personality changed, he stopped being nice to Wooyoung and everyone around him. His mental health had spiraled to the worst and the pressure from his parent's only pushed it further down. A ship with no anchor can be risky for it's crewmen, and Hongjoong has been facing those risks since Seonghwa left.
