Its been three weeks now since I over heard Master and Sir talking. They don't seem to want to get rid of me quite yet but I've also smartened up. I haven't received any punishments since that night and I don't plan on giving them any reason. We've had sex every now and then, but there's been nothing as intense as that time, but even if there was, I can't afford to fuck up again. I've been drifting through the days instead of really feeling anything but I don't think they notice. I'm more caught up in making sure I'm enough for Sir and Master than anything else.
As I walk through the house to make sure everything is in good condition I hear a car pulling up in the driveway. I've managed to get into my proper position in time for Master and Sir to walk in through the garage. They greet me like usual and tell me that they'll be going away for a few days. My heart drops as they explain it, "It's a business trip to hopefully expand the company to the east coast, but we will have to be away for the weekend," Sir says.
"But don't worry," Master cuts in, "We're going to drop you off at our friends' place, you've met them before, Kerri and Rosie. Just so you're not alone."
My mind floods with emotion as I'm hit with this information but my face remains unchanged. I nod, not trusting my voice right now. We continue the rest of the night without a hitch and I manage to get to sleep rather quickly.
As morning comes, I wake up to Sir packing a bag of some casual clothes for me. I eat some breakfast and have a shower, and by the time I'm out, my bags are packed up and we're ready to leave the house. We all pile into the car and drive about twenty minutes until we reach a nice single-family home just outside the city. Master turns off the car and we walk up the small stone path to the front porch. Right as Master is about to knock, the door swings open to a short blonde woman with a huge smile on her face. I recognize her from the first time I was ever at the club. Her wife slowly comes up behind her, guiding her out of the way.
"We've got to get out of the way if we want them to come in, my love," The taller red-headed woman says sweetly. Sir just laughs lightly as Master leads the way into the house. I follow closely behind, sandwiched between Master and Sir.
"Here, let me take your bags!" The woman I remember as Rosie says, reaching out towards the bag slung over my shoulder. I let her take it as she leads the way through the house. "You'll be in the guest room, right next to ours, so if you need anything, just ask," she explains leading me upstairs and into said guest room. Its nicely decorated but obviously not lived in. Rosie places the bag on the bed and turns around to face me. "I know we only met once, but try to make yourself comfortable," she says with a smile. I nod silently, trying to form a smile.
We stand in uncomfortable silence for a little bit until Rosie leads the way back down stairs. Kerri, Master and Sir are talking by the time we get back down but I can't manage to listen in. My mind is spinning and before I know it, I say goodbye to Master and Sir, and watch their car leave the driveway.
"I'm sure Rosie already said this, but if you need anything, just let us know. Make yourself comfortable here okay," Kerri tells me.
"Thank you," I say, my voice low and unsure. "I think I might just settle upstairs for a bit if that's okay," I say and they both nod and say "of course". By the time I get into the room and close the door I break down. I sob into my knees as I curl up at the foot of the bed. I don't know how long I stay curled up but by the time I go to stand, my legs are stiff and cramped. I decide to open the bag and throw out some clothes to make it look like I was doing something before going to open the door. As I reach for the handle a knock rings out; I open the door to Rosie standing in the hallway.
"Hey, I was just coming to check up on-" Rosie starts, "Oh my god, are you okay?" She asks noticing my red eyes.
"Oh, uh," I wipe my eyes some more, "Yeah I'm fine."
"Do you want to talk?" She asks. Normally I'd refuse but I've felt so empty and yet full of emotion lately, I just nod.
We walk back into the room and she sits me down on the bed.
"What's going on?" She asks, her voice soft and reassuring as she rubs my back.
I feel the need to cry but I can't anymore so I just sit there staring at my hands. I don't know what comes over me so suddenly, but I just start talking. I talk about how I had heard Sir and Master talk about how I disappointed them; how I've been trying to be good for weeks so they wouldn't be more disappointed; and how I think that they dropped me off here to leave me and that they won't come back. Rosie stays silent through my ramblings, rubbing my back and nodding along.
"Well, they're not going to abandon you here, first, we would never allow them to do that, but also, we've been casually talking about this for over a month when they found out they'd be having this trip. They want you to meet people and not be solely reliant on them, " Rosie explains after I'm done. "Look, what you heard was way out of pocket for them and it should never had been said, but they aren't mad at you or want to get rid of you."
I nod, not really fully believing what she says but I do take it into consideration and it does settle my mind. We stay in the room a bit longer, not talking but both mutually understanding that I need a bit more time.
