To be honest, most Danger Days content is entirely fanon-based, given that the characters don't exactly... uh, have speaking lines or anything.

I feel like everyone's take on how the Killjoys are as people is a bit different, and I figured I'd do a chapter on mine for these two :) tbh this will probably make some of my fics easier to understand if anyone's actually reading this-

Ok so

-Party Poison is the ringleader of the group, and doesn't hesitate to let it show. He's cocky, sarcastic, outspoken, and while charming, can also be pretty irritating- he'll either make a new friend or a new enemy every time he goes anywhere. He has a hard time knowing when to let up on the jokes and understanding when people aren't laughing along with him. He can come off as boastful and self-centered- his recklessness and risk-taking tendencies make it seem like he has an overinflated sense of confidence.

The way he behaves is a coping mechanism, more than anything. He experiences a lot of self-doubt and tends to base his worth on his performance and other peoples' perception of him, blaming himself for things over which he has no control. Being powerless scares him. If one thing goes wrong that he feels he could have prevented, his confidence will crumble and he'll get in the mindset that he needs to prove himself, no matter what. He has very strong paternal/protective instincts, and would be willing to die for those he loves. He strongly values freedom and independence.

-Similarly to Party, Fun is a bit of a jokester and uses humor to cope with or demystify difficult situations. However, he's a lot more reserved, aloof, and awkward. He's blunt to the point of seeming arrogant and unsympathetic. He doesn't trust easily, and it takes a lot of time and a fuckton of patience to get him to open up.

Once you break the shell, he's an incredibly caring and loyal person. He tends to ramble a lot, as he doesn't normally get to talk to anyone besides himself. He's also very paranoid, which is one of the reasons he doesn't click with most people- he's afraid that they're secretly out to get him in some way, and that it's better to be an dick so that they'll leave him alone, that way he doesn't run the risk of something bad happening.

-Overall, they're quite different but deal with a lot of the same issues. Party feels like he's the worst so he always acts like he's the best (but he feels like he's the worst haha MARINA reference geddit I'm so funny) in the hopes that other people will believe it and he'll earn their admiration. Fun prefers the idea of being disregarded so that everyone will just leave him alone.

-They find a lot of solidarity in their struggles, managing to relate to one another in ways they've never particularly related to anyone else. Its easier to express their feelings to each other because they know that the other understands, and they don't have to bottle up all of their thoughts.

-They find each other's personalities quite therapeutic. Fun's a very grounding presence and helps Party recognize when it's okay to not be the center of attention. He reassures Party that he doesn't have to take on everything alone, bringing him back to earth when he starts to get too into his own head.

-Party helps Fun to have more confidence and makes him feel heard, which encourages him to crawl out of his shell and start engaging with others. He's stubborn, but in a good way. He makes Fun feel like there are people who care for him and that he's not at risk of getting hurt if he lets them in.
