I stood outside the airport next to the pavement, where I was told to wait for my 'host.' I felt a fresh breeze blow through my hair. A red Lincoln continental pulled up next to me and a girl got out.

"hey are you, uh" she read a torn piece of paper in her hands  "Demi Reynolds?" She smiled "I' m Cassie" She tossed her mousy brown hair to the side.  "nice shirt. you like Black sabbath?" indicating my at t - shirt.

"oh yeah I'm a big fan" I had no idea what to say

"I have so many Vinyls." she shook my hand, her silver rings twisting on my fingers  "Well hi. I'm the one you are staying with for now"  she pointed to her car. "I must warn you about my pubescent little brother Lars, he's an ass hole, love him though" She sat down in the drivers seat. I pulled open the car door with force then sat down in the front seat. I had to remember American cars are different to UK cars . "if you don't mind I was gonna stop by somewhere and pick up my friend. think you'll like him" she hummed

"Yeah i don't mind at all." The drive went pretty quick until we pulled up outside a record store 'Lee's Records' and a really tall, lanky boy with frizzy brown hair longer than mine, opened my door and tried to sit down.

"Cliff!" Cassie yelled pushing him away cackling.

"shit, ah sorry" he said standing up. he shut my door and backed round the car to the back seats. He leaned forwards "so, who are you then? " he said, i could feel his breathing on my cheek. He stank of weed.

"Cliff, this is Demi," Cassie said turning her head from the road "sorry Demi, this is Cliff"

"hi cliff" I smiled at him. He was holding a vinyl and a can of beer. He was sort of good looking  so I stared at him a little by accident. I started to figure I looked really creepy, then I fixed my hair and leaned backwards into my seat.  We chatted all the way home about random shit like music, and their friends. The drive seemed pretty short,

When we got to her house I realised how huge it was. she took my suitcase out of the trunk of her car and i took my duffel. I stood in amazement staring at her practically a mansion.

"welcome to my humble abode" Cassie smiled, standing next to me.

"yeah Cassie your fucking 3 story humble abode." Cliff chuckled to himself.

"It's not that big..." she rolled her eyes at him. I looked up at the house. It was amazing, an old, tall building, with creamy white walls and covered in huge windows. It seemed as though the attic counted as a room, with a window popping out from the roof. My eyes scanned around to admire the amazing front garden, there was a tall white garage, with the door open, and inside sat a gorgeous  Ferrari 288 GTO. I was in awe. We walked up to her front door -  A tall faded white colour, with a golden doorbell, set under a front veranda. -  through the hall and then into her kitchen.   Her kitchen was amazing. it was all open out the back and had a little bar area and led on into the living room.

"want a beer Clifford?" She said with her head in the fridge

He looked annoyed "yes please miss Ulrich" Cliff teased her.

"ah, well here" she laughed tossing one up to Cliff, him catching it smoothly then cracking it open and taking a sip.  She stood up and gave him a soft punch on the arm causing him to  fall back in slow motion.

"are you two, like, together?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

They snapped back to just standing right in front of me at the bar "nah, can you imagine" Cassie laughed. then she looked over at him. Her pupils widened though, regardless of what she says.
