Silence Spell

Wei Wuxian is sleeping. Not into his bedroom but in class in a sitting position. His right elbow is on the table and he supporting his head by his right hand. Jiang Cheng is sitting on his front seat and he can hear some soft snores. Yanli and Wen Qing are on front seats of Jiang Cheng and Nei Huaisang. Wen Ning is right behind Wuxian. He know very well who is the one snoring in Lan Qiren's class. Yes they are attending Lan Qiren's class. And Wuxian is sleeping during his lecture. Lan Qiren is walking while speaking. He notice Wei Wuxian and came to his seat. Wen Ning try to awake Wuxian with a slow voice. But all in vain. Lan Qiren caught him. Lan Qiren is standing behind Wuxian.
Qiren- ' Wei Wuxian '
Wuxian- ' Umm Jiang Cheng ' while eyes closed.
Qiren- ' Wei Wuxian ' said with serious voice.
Wuxian- ' Let me sleep. Jiang Cheng! '
Qiren- ' WEI WUXIAN' said loudly. All students look in their direction.
Wuxian- ' What's your problem JIANG CHH 😯 Master you. ' Finally he open his eyes and the first person he see in front of his eyes is Lan Qiren. He look here and there, He is in class and all students are looking at him.
Qiren- ' You came here for sleeping '
Wuxian shakes his head in No.
Qiren- ' Then Why were you sleeping just now. '
Wuxian- ' Master I was not sleeping. '
Qiren- ' You also lie in front of me.'
' First you are not serious in your study and second you lie to me. '
Wuxian-' I am not lying. I was just bored.'
Qiren- ' You are saying My class is boring. '
Wuxian- ' No Master its not like that....'
Qiren- ' Now you are arguing with me. 😡😡😡😡😡 '
Wuxian- ' No i am not. '
Qiren- ' Don't talk in front of me.'
Wuxian sit silently, head low and Qiren staring at him with angry face.
Qiren- ' Now why are you silent. Tell me what did i say in class.'
Wuxian- Silent
Qiren- Tell me.
Wuxian- Silent
Qiren- ' Now cat got your tongue. '
Wuxian- Silent
Qiren- ' WEI WUXIAN'
Wuxian- ' Master! You yourself forbid me to talk in front of you.'
Yanli signal him to keep quiet. Cheng is giving him angry look. Other Classmates looking at him with pity. Wen Chao is smirking. And our Lan Wangji is sitting straight and silently listening what they two are doing with cold expressions.
Qiren- ' Get out of my class and kneel down in front of Wall of Rules '
Wuxian silently stand up with a pout and went towards the door.
Qiren- ' Brat '
When Wuxian came out of class his face change sad to happy. He is jumping like a rabbit here and there. He starts roaming here and there in cloud recess exploring all places. He is roaming in a garden. Lan Xichen is also passing by the garden. He notice a beautiful omega hoping in garden like a small kid running behind butterflies. He stops and start looking at him. He remember his name. First day all new students introduce themselves. He went near him. Wei Wuxian notice someone is behind him. He turn his head. He stare on the person behind him for sometime and finally ask him
Wuxian- ' Don i know you? '
Xichen- ' Ohh I am Lan Xichen. Elder son of Sect leader Qingheng-Jun' bowing his head for greeting.
Wuxian- ' Ah I am sorry Zewu- Jun. I didn't recognise you. '
Xichen- ' Its Okay Childe Wei.' He smiles.
' But why are you here at this time. Is not its your class time. '
Wuxian pouts cutely and said
Wuxian- ' Ahh its a long story! Actually i was kicked out of class. Hahaha Its not a big deal. '
Wuxian laugh nervously. Xichen also smiles and said
Xichen- ' Its Okay Childe Wei. But you should rest in your room. Its not safe roaming around alone. '
Wuxian- ' If its not safe then why not you accompany me ? '
Wuxian ask him excitedly and raise his eyebrows. Xichen can't ignore this cute rabbit. He smiles and nod his head.
They started walking in Cloud Recess together. Xichen show him all over the places in Cloud Recess. Wuxian is a happy person and Xichen is very friendly. They both get along very quickly. They became good friends. At last Lan Xichen took Wuxian to back hills. But Wuxian stop walking when he remember last night's incident. Xichen saw him and also stop
Xichen- ' What happen Childe Wei! Are you all right ? '
Wuxian nod his head and smile
Wuxian- ' Yes I am Okay. '
Xichen- ' Then lets go. There is a lake. You will like it. '
Wuxian- ' Ah Yes I know there is a lake. I came here yesterday. '
Wuxian said in a sad tone.
Xichen- ' That's good. But why are you looking so worried. Is something bothering you? '
Wuxian- ' Actually yesterday I came here with my friend Wen Ning. And some bad Alpha's bully us. '
Xichen- ' What! Who dare to did this in Cloud Recess. You can tell me. I will punish them.'
Wuxian- ' No No its Okay Zewu-Jun. They already have their punishment.
Yesterday Hanguang-Jun came on time and save us from them. '
Xichen- ' Haan Wangji saved you. Then I don't need to do anything. He surely teach them a good lesson. ' He smiles proudly. Wuxian also nodded his head excitedly.
Wuxian- ' Yes Hanguang-Jun defeat them very badly. And he also became my good friend. However he speaks less and i speaks very much. But we can be good friends.'
Xichen's jaw dropped. He is very surprised after hearing that his little brother Wangji made a friend first time in his life. He is also very happy because now his brother have someone as a friend like Wei Wuxian. Wuxian seems kind hearted and sweet. They talk for sometime more like Wei Wuxian is speaking non stop and Xichen is listening silently.
Its lunch time already when they went back. Xichen also came with Wuxian to their cottage because Wei Wuxian want him to meet with his siblings and friends. When he entered in the cottage, he is welcomed by a tight hug of Yanli.
Yanli- ' A-xian where did you go after class. I told you to not go outside alone. I didn't see you in classes. '
Wuxian- ' I am Okay Shijie. Don't Worry and I was not alone. '
Yanli broke the hug. She look at wuxian then she look towards the door. There is standing handsome Zewu-Jun of Twin Jades of Lans. Others are also their waiting for Wuxian.
They all greet Zewu-Jun and invite him inside. Xichen came inside. Wuxian introduce them. Xichen remember their names but he let Wei Wuxian do what he want. After spending half a day with Wei Wuxian, Xichen know that well he is very talkative and childish. He also see that his siblings treats him like a kid.
They drink tea together. Xichen became friends with others too. He like Jiang's company. Yanli thanks him for taking care of Wuxian. She also praise his and his brother's kindness. She said she personally wants to thanks Hanguang- Jun for saving Wuxian. Jiang Cheng also respect them. They talk and know about each other.
Lan Wangji is reading some books in library pavilion. Lan Xichen also went to library pavilion after spending time with Jiang's. He want to talk with his brother and he know where can he meet him. He enter in library, Lan Wangji is deeply lost in the books. Xichen- ' Wangji '
Wangji look at his brother and greet him. Xichen went near to him and also sit on a table.
Xichen- ' What are you reading Wangji. '
Wangji- ' Its a book of talismans. '
Xichen- ' You haven't got any clue yet. '
Wangji shake his head.
Xichen- ' Wangji! Do you know Wei Wuxian ? '
Wangji look at his brother he didn't say anything. Xichen continuous
Xichen- ' Childe Wei said you both are friends. I am very happy for you Wangji. He is a nice person.'
Wangji- ' Brother he is not my friend. '
Xichen know his brother he is not going to admit so easily and now he also know Wei Wuxian. He is not going to admit his defeat so easily. He smiles and change the topic
Xichen- ' A lot of incidents are happening here since few days. Its all started after the arrival of new students.'
Wangji- ' Hmm '
Xichen- ' We need to be careful from now on. Alright I am leaving now, I hope you will be a good friend with Childe Wei soon. '
Wangji didn't said anything. Lan Xichen bid him good bye and went out of the library.
After some time
Someone entered in the library. Its nobody else but our dear Wei Wuxian. He saw Lan Wangji sitting on a table reading something. Lan Wangji also know about his arrival but didn't react. Wei Wuxian come straightly to Wangji and sit near him. He start calling Wangji's name. Lan Wangji ignore him and didn't response.
Wuxian- 'Hey Hanguang-Jun'
Silence

Wuxian- ' Lan Wangji'
Silence
Wuxian- ' Mister Lan '
Still silence
Wuxian- ' Lan Zhan '
Lan Wangji look at him angrily.
Wuxian- ' Its your birth name right! Zewu-Jun told me. Why you didn't look at me before. You want me to call you with your birth name. Right! that's why you didn't response before. I got it. You are so cute Lan Zhan. '
Wei Wuxian pinch his cheeks.
OMG Wei Wuxian what you did ?
Wangji- ' WEI WUXIAN '
Lan Wangji's stand up immediately his face is all red with anger. No one literally No one ever dare to touch Lan Wangji. But Wei Wuxian casually pinch his cheeks like he his a small kid.
For Wei Wuxian his expressions are very funny. He starts laughing on him.
Wuxian- ' You are so funny Lan Zhan '
He hold his belly and start laughing more loudly. Lan Wangji is fumming in anger. After sometime Wei Wuxian stop laughing. He looks at Wangji. His face is cold and expressionless.
Wuxian- ' Okay Okay I am sorry. You are not funny. You are cute. ' He smiles brightly try to cheer up his new friend
who seems angry because of his behaviour.
But Lan Wangji is Lan Wangji. He glare at him and turn his face to another direction.
Wuxian under his breath 'fuddy duddy'
Wuxian- 'Are you mad at me Lan Xhan.'
Okay I am sorry na. I promise I will never laugh at you again. ' three fingers on the upside of head
Silence is all in the library for sometime.
Wuxian- ' Lan Zhan we are friends now. Why are ignoring me ? Say something! Lan Zhan! Lan Zhan! Lan...'
He is continuously try to convince Lan Wangji but suddenly his lips sticks with eachother other. He try to speak but his lips are not opening. He starts pulling Lan Wangji's sleve. Lan Wangji looking straight and said
Wangji- ' Its Silence Spell. Speaking loudly is forbidden in Library Pavilion '
Wuxian listen about this spell before but never experienced himself. Its very difficult for him to keep quiet. But for now he has to be silent forcefully. He glare at Lan Wangji and came out of the library. He sneaks out of their cottage with Huaisang who is stalking on Meng Yao. Wei Wuxian know about his brother. Huaisang already tell him that he likes MengYao.
