Wuxian is feeling uncomfortable. He can't move his body. His collar is brutally held by Lan Wangji in the air. And the poor omega is hanging like a kite. He said
Wuxian- ' Lan Zhan! Its uncomfortable. Why can't you hold my hand instead of my collar my shoulders are aching. '
He streched out his hand but Lan Wangji ignore his request and said
Wangji- ' I don't like physical contacts with others. '
Wuxian make a pouty face and said politely
Wuxian- ' But I already touch you so many times before. Now what is the problem with just holding my hand? I am not saying you to hold my waist like Xichen ge holds MengYao's. I am just asking for hold my hand. I am not going to kiss you also if you hold me by waist.'
Lan Wangji's ears become red because of Wuxian's improper statement. He is not able to said anything and Wuxian become angry because Lan Wangji didn't response. He know that Wangji is stubborn and don't going to listen him. He angrily said
Wuxian- ' Lan Zhan you are ridiculous. Hmmp 😤 '
Cheng came towards them few minutes ago. He listened their talk. He hold Wuxian's hand and pull him towards himself but Lan Wangji's grip on Wuxian's collor is tight. When Cheng pull his hand Lan Wangji didn't let go of his collar. Both alphas look into each other's eyes angrily. Cheng is angry because he don't like Lan Wangji and Wuxian's closeness. He always think Lan Wangji did some type of black magic on his Omega brother. No matter how much Lan Wangji ignore him Wuxian still going to attach with him. He is also angry with Wangji because he treats his little brother rudely. And about Lan Wangji he himself don't know why he doesn't want to leave Wei Wuxian. He is some how don't liking the idea of letting Jiang Cheng holding Wuxian's hand.
Both are not ready to leave Wuxian. Poor omega is hanging between two angry birds.
Cheng again try to pull him towards himself but Wangji again didn't let him go. Cheng is short tempered. But he don't want to pick a fight with Hanguang-Jun not in this situation so he try to hide his anger and ask
Cheng- ' Hanguang-Jun ! If you don't like physical touch with others than you also don't have to hold Wuxian's collar. I can take care of my brother. Leave him! '
Wangji doesn't reply or react. He don't know what to do actually. He don't want to another alpha hold Wuxian. But Wuxian don't like his brother's tone. Cheng is being rude. He know Cheng is angry. He can sense his anger after listen his poisoness words. He said
Wuxian- ' Cheng don't be rude. He just save me from ghosts. If he didn't came at time i would be the food of Water Ghosts. You angry pig! And leave my hand i don't want to hang with you in air and listen your nonsense lectures. '
Wuxian spit out angrily. He don't like the way his brother use to talk with his Lan Zhan. Everyone is shocked on his sudden change even Jiang Cheng. Just now he is complaing about Lan Wangji. And when Chang try to help him he become angry. Cheng is boiling in anger.
Cheng- ' Youuu.. you stupid Wei Wuxian if you don't remember than i can remind you. I am your elder brother and he is no one to you. He is not your brother nor mate than why the hell are you clinging on another alpha like this. You are a fucking Omega can't you stay in your limits. '
Wuxian become very angry. How can change speaks this nonsense. He is known to Cheng's bad temper but still he can't tolerate if Cheng questioned his pure friendship with Lan Wangji. Yes he just thought Lan Wangji as a friend no best friend from the day he save his dignity. He yell angrily
Wuxian- ' JIANG CHENG! Watch your mouth. And If you are that much stupid than listen carefully Lan Zhan is my best friend. I can cling on him whenever I want even he himself push me away i am not going to leave his side. Do you get that. And you...( 👉 Pointing towards Lan Wangji ) Mister Lan Wangji how come you are here at this time. Is not its time of curfew in Cloud Recess? Haan! then how did you come out ? '
Yes this the main question everyone want to know. Why Lan Wangji is here ? Jiang Cheng roll his eyes. He know its useless to argue with Wuxian and also he didn't fight further because he is curious to know why Lan Wangji is here. He jerked Wei Wuxian's hand harshly and went away. Wuxian know his angry pig 🐷. He didn't react.

Lan Wangji is walking towards northern mountains. He is busy in his thoughts. Thoughts of Wei Wuxian. But his steps halted in midway when he hear name of Wei Wuxian. He stops on his track. Its not his habit to eavesdropping but when its come to Wei Wuxian he don't mind listening whatever the people are talking.
Wen Chao is talking with Wen Zhuliu.
Wen Chao- ' Did you work on our plan'
Zhuliu- ' Yes Master '
Wen Chao with evil smirk plaster on his face said- ' Good Now I can revenge of my insult from that Wei Wuxian. I will also teach Lan Wangji a good lesson but for now Wei Wuxian is going to take his reward after rejecting my offer. That whore will regret his actions. I will make sure to send him in a hell. '
Wen Zhuliu- ' But Master his brother Jiang Cheng is also went with him. Sect leader Lan too then how would be our plan work ? '
Wen Chao- ' The ghosts are specially ordered for them. '
The ghosts!!! What is he talking about ? Which ghosts and why they ordered them ? The ghosts he is talking about are water ghosts whom his brother and some other people went to capture. He didn't take much time to realize this point. That means these ghosts are not real danger for Villagers or passengers but they specially send them for Lan Clan's dicilples. Wei Wuxian is in a big danger. His train of thoughts stop when Wen Chao again speek
Wen Chao- ' No one know that Water ghosts are came from Wen Sect and they are following my orders. And i told brother to deal with that so called brother and so called friend of that slut. He is whoring arround in name of friendship and trapped both Twin Jades of Lan in his beauty. '
Wangji is extremely burning with anger. He can't listen these words. These filthy words of Wen Chao are making his blood boil. Why he is effecting with his words that much ? But the more important thing right now is to save Wei Wuxian. He is not right. He needs help. He will get hurt. No no i can't let him be in danger. He need to help him. But why? Why he is worried? Its not like he is caring for him. Then why the hell he is being impatient by only the thought of getting him hurt. His mind is messing with him. But his heart make him understand that Wuxian think him as a friend. He is doing this only for the sake of his friendship. But again a thought came in his mind. Wuxian thought him as a friend but he never considered him as a friend. He always ignore his words. Then how he is a friend.
Lan Wangji shut his eyes tightly. He want to break Wen Chao's mouth. He wants to kill him mercilessly for using bad words for Wuxian. But his first priority is to save him. Without wasting any moment and ignore his own thoughts he went to the place where he is now. The moment he arives at the shore of lake he saw MengYao push Wuxian he also jump in lake with the speed of light and take him out.
