You stared into his eyes and noticed some sadness in it.

"But I noticed you weren't really receptive so I stopped. I'm sorry if I bothered you with my flirt..."

You widened your eyes.

"Are you joking? Didn't you notice my blushing everytime you called me by a sweet name or something?"

He let out a little gigle, which appeared to be the cuteste giggle you've ever heard.

"I did notice, that's why I kept going but then... the way you talked about our relationship to Itto when he questioned us, I... I realized I was wrong all along."

You shook your head and closed the gap between you to, looking straight in his eyes.

"No, no, you're... you're not wrong at all Heizou, I mean... I... I really really like you... But I panicked because I thought it wouldn't be the same for you, so I said there was nothing between us, but I... Sorry, about that, I didn't know you felt the same way as me..." you let out between stutters.

Heizou eyes widened and a smile appeard on his lips.

"So you do feel something for me after all..."

You turned your head, all red and nodded without saying anything. Heizou approach his hands and put it on your cheeks to make you turn your head back towards him.

"Please look at me."

You raised your eyes to lock them into his and slowly the gap between your lips closed and you could feel his on yours. 

Immediately everything felt like a dream. The butterfly in your belly started dancing, a warm feeling went in your body. You felt like the moon was showing in that particular moment, that the birds were singing happy songs for you, that your heart was about to pop out of your chest.

When he broke the kiss he looked deep in your eyes and smiled. Just by his smirk you could tell he was about to say something that would make you flutered as usual. And indeed he did. He said "Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are" which made you blush immediately. This man was capable to make you feel all some kind of ways so easily.

"Don't start with the flirty lines, please..."

He giggled and kissed you back, but before it could get passionate, someone arrived and immediately gasped.

"Oh my god, I always arrive in the worst moment... I mean not that it is bad, cuase like I'm happy for you guys but um... I should shut up, shouldn't I?"

You laughed at your best friend who was embarrassed and didn't know what to do.

"It's okay, Itto." you smiled.

"What brings you here?" asked Heizou.

"Oh, yeah, um the kamisato clan wants to make a huge dinner with some friends and my bro Ayato asked me to ask you, y/n, to join us."

"Oh."

You looked at Heizou. Obviously you didn't want to let him alone. He understood what was wrong and smiled to you.

"Don't worry, my dear, we'll see each other tomorrow, right?"

You nodded.

"Yes."

You kissed his cheeks and stood up to head to the kamisato estate with your friend Itto. You were kinda surprised Kamisato Ayato actually invited Itto, you always he couldn't really tolerate him... But maybe you were wrong.

(short chapter cause i'm out of ideas i would love some help to know where to go with this fanfiction tbh (tell me in private) cause idk what to do with it </3 unlike my scaramouche fanfic i didn't have a precise endgame story with it and heizou isn't included in any archon quest so i can't take ideas from that.......)
