under the same circumstances" (y/n) said looking over the report the four of them have gotten. Her eyes scanned over it a few times already.
"Stabbed to death at the entrances to their respective apartments" Megumi said sitting between Nobara and Yuji in the backseat of the car they were in "Also, all three had recently complained to building management that..." he took a deep breath before continuing
"...the auto-lock on the automatic doors was unlocked. However, none of the other residents noticed" Raven haired boy sighed "But all the dates and locations are different. Did they really get killed by the same cursed spirit?" The last part was quieter probably more to himself then his classmates.
"Does the door issue have anything to do with the cursed spirit?" Yuji's gaze went over to the two "Would a cursed spirit even trip a door sensor?"
"Yuji, remember they don't show up on cameras" (y/n) added looking through her phone
"I know, but-"
"It's not the door sensor" Nobara looked at them side way "The door operator was influenced by the cursed spirit and went crazy"
"Right... operator?"
"It's hard to confirm from the crime scene" all eyes now turned to their (h/c) haired girl who sat in the front eyes still glued to the device in her hands "whenever or not it's the same curse"
"So we investigated, trying to find a common thread that connected all three" Now it was their driver time to speak. Akari Nitta- Jujutsu High Auxiliary Manager "what we found was that all three went to the same junior high for two years"
"So, the three of the got the same curse, and then it manifested after all these years?" Kugisaki thought out loud.
"Yup. There's a good chance that's the case"
"We're on our way to talk to a classmate who knew them" Nitta said with a small smile "I'd like the four of you to observe as jujutsu sorcerers"
They weren't really sure why did they arrive at a funeral, yet here they were standing around the black car looking at people dressed in dark clothes walking around the place, some crying, others simply hanging their heads low and moving silently.
