Chapter 1 | whoops

Sam was in his room watching YouTube when Colby came in.
"Hey Sammy, is it alright if we do a video tomorrow?"

Sam took his headphones off, "huh." He had not heard a single thing; his headphones are too loud, probably because they were so expensive (😉 no problem sam).

Colby rolled his eyes and repeated, "is it alright if we film a video tomorrow?"

"Oh yeah that's cool, where is it going to be? And who with?"

Colby smiled, showing his teeth, and clapped his hands together, "I met someone and he seems cool! His name is Finley, and I thought I would invite him. We will be going to this abandoned hospital. It's massssive but I'll tell you all about it tomorrow."

Sam was always nervous about meeting new people, not because of them but because he didn't know if they would like him. It was an insecurity of his that he was working on. And what if Colby ends up liking him more and leaves him?

"Alright, that sounds good." He sent Colby a smile.
Colby then proceeded to back away slowly containing eye contact and waving goodbye until he accidentally bumped his back into the wall. Sam burst out laughing and Colby dramatically left crying.

Sam was grateful to have Colby in his life. He turned back to what he was originally doing, which was watching YouTube but no, he was interrupted again. This time by a message from Colby, it was a link to someone's social media.

Sam clicked on it and was sent straight to Instagram. It was the Finley guy's profile; his full name was Finley Gray. It turns out he's a musician and has a YouTube channel called Finley Gray (you guys can pick and I'll change the name of his channel lol).

Sam thought since he was already watching YouTube, it wouldn't hurt to find out about this guy.
Sam searched it up on his computer and found out that he has 2 million subscribers. He pressed on the first one he saw and watched it.

To his surprise he let out a couple of laughs; this guy was pretty funny. And it seems his fanbase is too. And how did sam know that, well his search led to TikTok. There were so many memes and edits, and he looked a little too long at the edits.

Then the most horrifying thing happened, he liked a video..and didn't realise. He was way too focused on his "research" and "study" on this guy to notice. This could've been a nice friendly moment of Sam just liking a wholesome video of Finley but it was an edit of him flipping his head back and then looking intensely into the camera....So it wasn't a friendly moment.

He turned his phone off because he wanted to go to sleep early since tomorrow he would have to drive to the abandoned hospital.

He woke up to the sound of his alarm; he regretted putting it at 7:00 am, he could've at least slept a little longer but now he was awake. He immediately checked his phone and saw a lot of notifications.

And they were all from TikTok.

Sam opened it up to see what it was; he was tagged in a video. The video was someone freaking out because Sam Golbach liked their video, but it wasn't because he liked a video, it was because he liked a certain video.

Sam couldn't remember liking a video but checked the other video he was tagged in. In shock, he threw his phone and put his hands to his mouth. He couldn't believe it. How could he be so stupid?! He hoped Finley did not see that.

He slowly walked over to the phone as if it were a bomb and was going to explode any second. Once he reached it, he picked it up and opened it again. All the comments were talking about it. Most said, "sam, explain." "There is no hetero explanation for this." "At least Sam agrees he's hot."

He was so embarrassed. And now he had to do a video with him.

To try to calm himself, he went to get breakfast.
"Hey, Sammy." Colby greeted. Sam let out a breath thinking Colby didn't know.

He poured a bowl of coco pops because he did not feel like making eggs or bacon. He abruptly stopped walking to put the milk back when he spotted Colby looking straight at him from the sofa. He squinted his eyes at him confused and put the milk back.

"You know you can tell me if you like guys right." Colby suddenly blurted out.

Sam's face turned red and he turned quickly towards Colby, "w-what?"

"Nothing.." Colby went back to watching the TV.

Sam sat down and started to eat his cereal. Colby got up and walked over to him and looked straight into his eyes.
"Are you-"
"No Colby it was an accident I swear!!" Sam stood up and was about to walk away.

"I'm sorry Sam, I won't bring it up again."
Sam looked back and smiled, "don't worry about it."

Colby clapped his hands together, "so I'm going out, I'll be back an hour before we leave."

Thats chapter 1!! He'll meet Finley next chapter. I'm sorry if this is bad, I'm not an author, I just did this for fun :,)
