Okay, so I read chapter one and got kinda confused, lol. Basically, it doesn't really match up w/ the title. Soooooo, here's a quick note.
Basketball season hasn't started yet, BUT Ciara has been on the varsity team since she was a freshman. So, she doesn't have to keep trying out anymore.
Tryouts are coming up, and August is going to tryout for the boys team. Mind you, he's as good as Jordan in this book, OK? So, like...yeah. That's how it's going to pan out.
Sorry if I confused anyone. But their first game of the season is still gonna be against Hillard T. High.
