You and team 7 had finally caught that cat. You were exhausted, and so was everyone else.
"Heyyyyy Sakura, wanna go on a dateeee?" Naruto practically begged.
"Ew, no" Sakura said bluntly. Naruto was always trying to get Sakura to go out with him, which secretly upset you. You had a crush on Sakura but didn't dare tell her, scared of rejection. You couldn't bare the thought of ruining your friendship.
You knew damn well that you had no chance with Sakura, she was obsessed with your twin brother, Sasuke who obviously had no interest in the pink haired girl.
"Let's go" saskue said to you in his monotone voice. "But-" " don't argue with me", he said raising his voice just enough for you to notice. You reluctantly complied. You gave Sakura the 'sorry my brother is being a dickhead' look.

It was the next day and you and team 7 minus Kakashi Sensei made plans for lunch, which of course was Ichiraku.
You and Sasuke walked silently to meet up with Sakura and Naruto. Sasuke almost never made small talk, he seemed so reserved, unlike before the massacre. Your heart aches knowing that he would never be the same.
You two finally arrived, seeing Naruto and Sakura awaiting your arrival.
It had been about 10 minutes and you guys were finally eating your ramen. Naruto began a conversation, "so y/n, do you like anyone?" He asked curiously.
You froze, not sure what to say. You could either risk your friendship with Naruto and possibly Sakura, or you could lie and feel guilty about it.
You decided to tell Naruto. You stood up, grabbing Naruto's hand and dragging him to a nearby alleyway. "hey, y/n??", "Where are we going??"
"Shhh, Naruto" , "I'll tell you who I like, but you have to promise to keep it a secret!", "Ok, ok", " so who is it?"
You took a deep breath, trying to calm your nerves, " it's Sakura.." you looked away scared of what Naruto would think. "OH AWESOME, SHE'S LITERALLY GORGEOUS!"
"N-naruto!", "Be quiet!", "Oh yeah right, sorry y/n." Naruto laughed nervously
"So your not mad, you don't hate me?" You questioned. "What, why would I hate you?" He said genuinely confused. "Well I thought that you'd think it was weird that I like a girl..." "Weird?", "Girls are awesome!" He chanted. You giggled, happy that he accepts you for liking a girl. You two walked back to Ichiraku, continuing eating.
