Part 12 : the red eclipse

It has been two days since the frost bourne noticed the nights strange behaviour with it lasting longer as if the songs almost being blocked .

Mara has been freaking out over the event and Daryl is even more concerned for her .

But even he is a little worried , in thats last two days the night has been growing even longer to the point where theres only a small few hours of light with the sun.

Mara knows more then she has been saying by the looks of things.

For the past two days mara has been acting scared and strange , im worried about her ive never seen her this worried outside of when Alfred tried to kill her a few times This is different.

She has been doing a lot of tests with her tech and checking everything with the space core she had put in orbit awhile ago but she's certain something is out there .

I walked into her lab at what i think was about 6 pm , i had brought home some food for her but i saw her still testing which means i doubt she will be paying me much attention .

" i got us some food mara ...if you want some come get it " i started putting the food out on a table , i turned my head to look at her and the bags under her eyes were massive . She hasn't gotten much sleep over the last 3 days of course with her being so worried about something thats out there.

Mara " to busy to eat " she kept looking at her test notes over and over but then her stomach growled louder then i think ive ever heard some ones well growl , mara put her hands on her stomach and blushed out of embarrassment "...ok...what did you bring ?" I had got us one of our favourites some well done steak with salads . What we like some basic food.

She walked over to the table and sat in a chair , she looked very hungry and tired so this would be good for her...and some sleep but ill work on that when shes more willing to talk .

She began to eat her food , i lifted my mask to eat but of course in a way to not show my face since even to her i shall not show my face.

" ....mara i know you have been working yourself out but can you please take a rest and get some sleep " she gave me one annoyed and tired glance then went back to looking at her food as she aint more of it." Mara ...come on"

Mara " no i need to be sure " she hasn't even told anyone ever me what she means by this.

" sure of what mara !!, cause right now the only thing you should be sure of is that you need to sleep .......mara . What are you do afraid of .

Mara shifted her eyes away from me but then looked at me again she was still scared .

Mara " have you ever heard of the eternal ? " ' ...the what?' I said in my head ." The answer i bet isnt , have you ver heard of the red legion ?" The red legion ? Arent they just a myth .

Daryl " uhh ...red legion , some sort of alien empire and destroys anything in their paths ?" She nodded "...all I've heard the the legends which isnt much since not many people know even that much about them." .

Mara " the red legion are real....I assure you ..the eternal were once the most advanced empire in the end . They invented void cannons , end ships and discovered how to control the end crystals but one day creatures another other worlds came here and went to the end ....they fought the eternal in a bloody war which destroyed most of the eternal "

" most ? " i wondered." Is there still some left .

Mara " maybe ....its a possibility. The red legion get their name from other planets they have destroyed and conquered , the leave all planets and moons covered in red ask and let the blood of the planets creatures flow Turing the planet into a red waste land of death making them called the red legion " this sounds ......like something anyone would be afraid of but...why does she now this ? .
