Part 21 : the illager king.

(Narrator pov)

Last time we checked with the group heading for the undead waste land was three days ago so they have been moving for 5 days now. But with less cold closer to the undead lands Patrick and his group make it a day earlier then they were expecting .

Elsa  " I've never been here before " she says looking around at the trees and undead in the distance "...uhh should we worry about them ?" She asked worrying they would be attacked.

Patrick " considering what i did to their leader id say they would either have attacked us by now or they not at all" he of course referred to the second undead war Which azura lead against the frost bourne .

Zane " also the undead here as almost mindless and brain dead so they are not much to worry about " soon enough they saw a small group of illagers guarding a path .

Mara " well nice to see kalus has cut down his security for once " they ride up closer to the guards till one puts out their hand to make them stop.

The illager looked at the group " hmmmm well this is a surprise " he then put his eyes on zane " ...zane , looks whos back fellas " zane didnt have the patience to deal with this.

Zane" lets us through we need to see klaus " the leader illager turned to his fellow guard and told them to let the group through.

" klaus will be very happy to see you " he said as he stepped out of the way and the horses rode on by with everyone on them.

Patrick " you really know those illagers dont you " he said with a sense of curiosity.

Zane " a long time again i did , let's just say klaus is the reason i was an assassin "After riding for another few minutes zane and mara ended up behind the other two and beside each other.

Mara " you ok ? " she asked slightly worried.

Zane " why do you ask " he was trying not to pay her much attention.

Mara " your nightmare panic attack whatever it was. I heard you saying lots of things that you saw at least i think , one thing was herobrine over and over i was just wondering do you need to talk about it. Trust me i know a lot about keeping things hidden its not good forever " zane looked away from her then took a breath , he then turned to face her.

Zane"..before i met elsa ...and after i was an assassin i lived in glacierord till about two years ago " mara instantly picked up on what happened.

Mara " herobrines invasion ...so you were attacked by herobrine " he nodded and looked straight forward at elsa.

Zane " i tried to fight him and at first i thought i could in but he stabbed me and let me to bleed out into the snow but then elsa showed up...she used her healing ice magic to save me . I owned a lot to her so thats why i still protect her since shes to caring and nice to keep her self safe some times "

Mara " shes from the coven so why wasnt she in the coven when it was destroyed ?"

Zane " from what she told me she was sent to find stella since leif and victor were finally going to tell her that her father was lance but that if course didnt happen thanks to herobrine . " soon they reached the illager main fortress if you want to call it down where they would meet klaus to try get his help with fighting the red legion.

Elsa " these people....seem nice " she said not convincing her self seeing how armed the illagers and pillagers were and how they didnt seem to give nice looks to them.

Patrick " zane and mara ill let you guys take lead on this one since you two say you know this place better then me." They tied up the horses and walked out into the centre of the open area of the town.
