Arriving

The plane had finally landed after what it had felt like a million years. Me and my mom waited to get off the plane, as there were many people trying to get off.

Once we got off we waited on our suitcases at the baggage claim. Once we finally got them we left the airport and rented a car to go to our new home.

"Nice isn't it." I hear my mom say. "Yep." I responded with a sad tone in my voice. "Listen I know your not the happiest we moved here but there are so many new things you can do and so many new people you can meet." My mom says kind of making me realize that this is good for me. "Yea I think it will be good to try new things and meet new people." I say as we walk into our new house.

I walked up the stairs and found a room that viewed the city perfectly, I sat at the window and just stared at the city. "So, you like this room?" I hear my mom say as she walks up to me. "Yes, but if you like it I want you to take it." I say to her. "No, I want you to have this room, I'll take the other one." She says making me feel happy. "Thank you mom." I say giving her a big hug. "You're welcome, I'll leave you be so you can unpack your things." She says walking out the room.

~ A week after we moved into the new house ~

"Kira come downstairs for a minute." My mom yells as I'm laying in my bed watching TikTok. I run downstairs wondering what she wants. She hands me a gift box and tells me to open it. As I'm opening it, I see a piece of paper, and it was a ticket to a Barcelona game! I hug my mom with happiness and she says "It's tomorrow so be ready!" I'm about to cry with happiness and I tell my mom thank you so many times and run back up into my room. I start to plan what I'm going to wear tomorrow to look cute. As I'm trying to pick out outfit out, my friend from America calls me. Her name is Lila, and she was probably one of my only real friends, I told her everything.

Once I answered she looked so happy, "Oh my gosh I miss you so much!" She said, looking surprised I answered. "Me too girl!" I said so happy she called me. "What are you doing?" She said in a confused way. "Maybe picking a outfit for a Barcelona game." I respond trying not to smile. "Oh my gosh really! Are you going to fan girl over Gavi the whole game or actually watch it?"She said laughing.

I have thought Gavi was cute after I watched some of the Barcelona games on TV. I'm not one of those crazy fan girls but I wouldn't mind getting his number.

"I'm going to watch the game Lila." I responded while we were laughing together. "Sureeee." She replied in a sarcastic way.

We were on call with each other for about a hour, and while we were talking she was helping me pick out what to wear. Me and her decided I would wear some jeans with a crop top and some gold jewelry. I was also going to take my Gavi jersey and maybe I would get it signed. I hung up the call with Lila after she fell asleep on the phone.

~ The next morning ~

I woke up at about 12:00 because I didn't go to bed until 2:00 am just thinking about the game. My mom rushed into my room saying "Sweetie you need to get up, we need to leave in two hours!" I immediately woke up because I knew it would take me a while to get ready because I wanted to look cute. "Thanks for letting me know mom, I'll start getting ready."

I got up and walked over to my vanity, I turned on my curling iron and waited for it to warm up. I sectioned my hair off and began to curl my hair making sure it looks perfect. Once I was done I got my makeup bag out putting on some concealer, blush, mascara, and lip gloss. Lastly I put my outfit on and looked in the mirror, I looked cute. All I could think to myself was if I would get noticed. I knew I probably wouldn't, but I'm just a teenager who was dreaming about a professional soccer player so you can't blame me.

"Come on get in the car we have to go!" My mom yells up to me, as I'm gathering my things. I grab my jersey with the number 30 on it and walk out the front door to the car where my mom was waiting.
