Kylian turned quickly, and looked into my eyes.
He took the phone down from his ear, and quickly hung up.
He walked quickly towards me, but I was already turning to leave.
"Nora." He said, and gently grabbed my arm.
I slowly turned around, and looked him hurt in the eyes.
"I promise you, it's not what it looks like. Marie is a friend of mine's girlfriend." He said, looking at me with a convincing look.
I shook my head a little, looking at him doubtfully.
"The reason I seemed irritable with her was because she called me and asked me for help with their relationship. They've been fighting, and now she wants me to contact him for her." He said, looking deep into my eyes.
"I can prove that she and my mate are in a relationship if it would make you feel better." He said, looking at me a little nervously.
A small smile planted itself on my lips again, and I replied cautiously: "I trust you."
A huge smile spread on his lips, and he opened his arms, to give me a hug.
His arms around me seemed reassuring, and the relief of his explanation calmed me again.
"I made pasta for us." He said, looking down at me with a smile.
I nodded smilingly, and sat over at the table.
As we ate, we talked about everything between heaven and earth.
"Are you still in touch with any of your ex-girlfriends?" I asked cautiously, fearing he wouldn't answer me.
"No, the few girls I've been with have never wanted anything serious with me. When I find out that someone is just using me, I end all contact." He looked at me, and bit his lower lip gently.
I nodded my head silently, a little relieved that he wasn't in contact with them.
"How have your previous relationships been? Obviously only if you want to talk about it." He asked softly, looking into my eyes.
I sank the lump that had formed in my throat and began to tell.
"I've only had 1 boyfriend in my entire life, and things between him and I didn't exactly go well. I was with him when I was sixteen, and he pushed me into some things. I was in love with him and let him control me. It started to affect the rest of my life, especially after I found out he was cheating on me." I said softly, trying to get the smile back on my lips.
Kylian looked at me gently, and worriedly, and grabbed both of my hands.
I caught his eyes, and he caught mine.
"I promise to take care of you." He said softly, slowly nuzzling the top of my hands.
I tried again to smile a little, but couldn't really get it out.
My past with having a boyfriend was so bad that I had stayed away from boys completely until now.
Kylian was different, and I trusted him more than anyone else I'd been in contact with.
He shifted back in his chair a little, making a signal for me to come over.
I carefully walked over to him and he pulled me down to sit on his lap.
I sat with both legs on one side of the chair, leaning up against him.
He slowly nuzzled my cheek, and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"You make me crazy, you know that?" Kylian asked, looking at me.
"How?" I asked confused, but with wide curious eyes.
"I think you're a drug." He said, rethinking his answer.
"Is that a good or bad thing?"
He shrugged a little, then replied, "I guess it's not all bad, being addicted to you."
I blushed a little, and bit my lower lip gently.
"By the way, you've received 30 different Instagram messages since we posted a picture earlier." He grinned, and I laid my head back, exhausted.
He took my phone in front of my face, and my phone unlocked.
"A lot of boys, huh?" He said, looking at the messages.
He clicked on one of the messages, and the name of the person that had sent the message, I recognised immediately.
"Wait, that's my ex-boyfriend." I said cautiously, looking at the screen in confusion.
Kylian was reading aloud:
"I'm really sorry that you and I didn't get a proper time together. The things I did were stupid, and I understand if you can't forgive me. I heard you moved to Paris, but I was wondering if you still wanted to get together sometime and talk things through."
I looked at the screen in disgust, catching Kylian's eyes.
He started typing a reply to him.
"She ain't got time for you, bro." He wrote, and I couldn't help but smile a little at Kylian's response.

"I'll just clean up, you can find a movie on the TV in my bedroom." He said, winking at me.
I laughed a little at his wink at me, but then went into his bedroom.
I jumped up on his soft bed, and turned on the television.
I looked around for a movie, and put one on.

"Nora?" Kylian said lowly, stroking my hair behind my ear.
I carefully opened my eyes, and looked at him.
I realized that I had fallen asleep and the movie was still playing on the screen.
"Beautiful, do you want to sleep, or do you want to watch a movie with me?" He asked lowly, lying down next to me.
I nodded, and said, "I want to watch a movie."
I blinked a little, and woke up fully again.
I laid on his chest, and he held an arm around me.
"I'll just find a good movie." Kylian said, and went to the first horror movie he found.
I sighed, and pulled a little closer to him.
A phone from the night table next to the bed rang.
Kylian picked up the phone, and put it to his ear.
"Look after them tomorrow?" He asked, pondering a bit.
"Yeah, I can do that. You can just drop them off here, and I'll keep an eye on them."
He said, and after a long conversation, he finally hung up.
"We have to watch my two cousins tomorrow." He said, and I looked at him smiling.
"They just need to be here for a few hours. That's okay with you right?" He asked, looking at me.
I nodded, and said softly: "Of course, it is."

We continued watching the movie, and I was all scared pressed up against Kylian.
He made a quick movement with his body, and my heart skipped a beat.
"Kylian!" I said startled, and slapped him gently on the chest.
"I'm sorry, ma belle." He said, and kissed me on the forehead.
"What does that mean?" I asked curiously, looking at him.
He laughed a little at me, then replied, "It means my beautiful."
I smiled shyly, and bit my lower lip.
"You're so beautiful, you know that right?"
He asked, resting his gaze on my lips.
Instead of answering, I broke the distance between our lips, and planted mine on his.
I rolled on top of him, now sitting on his lap with my head towards him, without breaking the kiss.
His hands ran up and down my waist, leaving chills on my body.
I slowly pulled away from the kiss, looking deep into his eyes.
He smiled at me contentedly, and I now laid down on top of him.
My eyes grew heavy and I fell asleep, while I listened to his heartbeat.
