"Emma!! Come on!" My mother yells, marching up the stairs towards my room. I grab my bag, slinging it over my shoulder and head to my door; when she swings it open almost hitting me with it. "Gosh, why can't you hurry up! Your sister is waiting to leave."
"I'm coming now," I say as she pulls me out the door. I post a picture from when i woke up in my instagram and put my phone into my bag. As i get downstairs i see my little sister Olive and my dad sat in the kitchen. "Olive! Come on!" i shout to her heading straight for the front door. I look over my shoulder to see her getting her bag and coat so i head straight out the door to my car getting my keys out my bag. "Where the hell-" i start to say, trying to grab my keys, "oh they're here" i say getting them out the side pocket. Olive walks out the door shutting it behind her. Fun fact: Me and olive are homeschooled, my parents don't like us being out too much; I know pathetic right? "Ok, so! Where are we actually going?" i ask whilst getting into the drivers seat.
"I don't know, mom told me you were taking me out? And Its your birthday so you choose," Olive says getting into the drivers seat, i look over at her confused. I shake my head and say, "Okay... well then i guess we can just improvise. I'll see if Jamie wants to come and you can see if Sienna wants to if you want. We can just have a nice day out to celebrate," I say pulling away from the curb. "Yeah okay, sounds fun." She says smiling whilst pulling out her phone to message her friend. "Don't forget our annual Starbucks birthday trip!" She says, turning to look at me. "Was already planning on going before we get the goons!" I say looking her at, we both laugh and drive to Starbucks.
- Time Skip an Hour-
"Hey Olive!!" Sierra says getting into the car, she puts her seatbelt on as I pull off. "Hey Emma happy birthday, hey Jamie," Jamie says hi as I turn my head slightly and smile at her. "Hi Sierra." I say to her. Olive and Sierra are sat in the back seat talking and trying to come up with something to do, whilst Jamie and I are sat in the front trying to do the same. "Hey, Emma can you put some music on please?" Oliver asks me, "Yeah sure." I say in response, I click the bluetooth button on my car and play some of Beyoncé's music.
As we are driving through the streets Brooklyn, New York; we come across a huge billboard for a meet and greet that's happening. I pullover so I can show everyone.
"Guys look! there's a huge meet and greet in a few hours, wanna go?" I say to them pointing at the billboard. They all look up and Olive and I's faces instantly go into shock. Robert Downey Jr. is going to be there! He's my favourite actor since he plays Sherlock Homes. "Wait but how are we going to get tickets?" Sienna says, "Yeah they're probably sold out by now." Jamie chimes in, "Well no harm in seeing." I state, I start the car again and pull on for the meet and greet venue.
-At the Venue-
After we arrived at the venue, we all got out the car with me locking it behind us. We walked up to the ticket station at the front of the building.
"Hi, can we have four tickets please?" Jamie said to the woman at the desk, we all stood there smiling to be polite. "Oh I'm afraid we only have three tickets available.." the woman says with a sad smile. Olive looks at me with a hopeful smile, "We'll take them." I say to the woman, she smiles at me as I pay.
"Wait Emma there's four of us though.." Olive says to me, I look at her with a faint smile. "I know, but you are all huge marvel fans and I have never even heard of anyone at this greet. Well other than RDJ so its fine.. I can wait out here," I say smiling at the others. "What? Emma no that's not fair on you! Plus you paid for the tickets, I can't let you do that.." Jamie says looking at me. "Guys really its"
"Excuse me.." Someone says, tapping me on the shoulder. I stop mid sentence and turn around to face the person who was speaking. "Oh um hi..? Can I help you?" I ask the woman infant of me; "I don't mean to be rude but I overheard your conversation and heard you needed another ticket?" she says in a questioning manner. "Oh! No, no it doesn't matter really," I say to her. "Well I have a spear one that I don't need anymore so you can have it dear," The woman says smiling at me with the ticket in her hand for me to take. Hesitantly, I put my hand out to take it; I look up at the woman and thank her hugging her. The woman walks off to join the line for the greet and I turn back to my sister and friends.
"Damn Emma.. that was really nice of that woman," Sienna says to me, I look at her and say; "I know, I can't believe it.. but now I GET TO MEET ROBERT DOWNEY JUNIOR ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!" I shout. We all burst out laughing and soon go back to the car. Once we are all in the car we decided to go get some food at a Taco Bell not so far from the venue, because its only 2pm and the meet isn't until 6 so we still have a few hours.
Everyone is so hungry, we all ordered large meals! Olive even had an extra taco because all the excitement building up made her so hungry! We spent an hour in Taco Bell then all went back to our place to shower and freshen up before the greet.
-Time skip to 4pm-
As it hit 4pm, I had just finished getting ready for the meet! I decided to wear a greenish/yellow top with black low rise jeans and my furry denim jacket with my small gold hoops to add a small bit of detail. I decided to just straighten my hair and wear it down for it, to dress my outfit down a bit.
I just had my makeup to do but I'm only going to wear a small amount so I decide to go on my phone for a bit. As I'm scrolling through instagram, I notice I have a lot of notifications so I go to check to see what they are but they're all like on my post from this morning. I click on the post to see how it as doing.

WHAT?! HOW DID IT GET THAT MANY LIKES?! Okay.. I'm just going to ignore that for now..
"Okay, girl when did you get that strawberry shampoo? I love it." Jamie says as he walks out my bathroom. Ohhh did I forget to mention? Yeah he's gay!! "Hahah, the other day! Its amazing right?" I say smiling a him. "Slay girl slay, also; aren't you wearing any make up?" He asks me. "Oh yeah I am I was just scrolling through Instagram a bit lol, I'm only gonna do a small amount though. You know, the whole natural look." I say smiling. "ahh ok girl, well whilst you do that I'm gonna style my hair!" He says as he turns around and struts back into the bathroom. I walk over to my vanity and get my concealer, blush, mascara and lipgloss out with a few brushes.
Before I put my concealer one get my moisturiser out my skin car bag and apply that on my face and let it set for a few minutes and then begin my make up. Just as I put my lipgloss on Jamie walks out the bathroom after being done with getting ready and sits on my bed.
"Damnnnn. You look hot E," Jamie says looking at me through my vanity mirror. I smile at him, and respond; "Not so bad yaself Jay." We both laugh, getting up and grabbing our phones. "Come on lets go see if they're ready," I say to Jamie as we both leave my room and go across the hall to Olive's room.
"Knock, knock.." I say as we walk into the room, "You guys almost ready?" I ask them both as it walk over to Olive. "Almost I just can't get this bit of eyeliner right, as soon as I do we can go!" Sienna shouts from the bathroom. "I'll do it!" Jamie shouts back as he walks into Olive's bathroom to help Sienna. "You ready?" I ask Olive as I stand next to her in the mirror, "Yep, just waiting on Sienna." We both take a few pictures together to remember this day, and Jamie walks out of the bathroom. "She ready?" I ask him, "Yep just putting her make up away," Just as he says that Sierra walks out the bathroom smiling. "Okay we can go!"
We all head downstairs and put our shoes on, I decided to wear my black Timberland boots. After we had all got our shoes on, I went to grab the car keys when Jamie beat me to it; "Ahahaahh birthday girl! I'll drive us," He says smiling. I smile back and we all head out to the car fastening our seatbelts and getting all excited to meet our favourite celebrities...
