Charlie's frequent yawns can't wipe off the smile on her face as she and Mia, the main koala caretaker at the rescue park, replaced the Eucalyptus branches in the enclosure.

"I see you stayed up late talking to Robert again. I'm pretty sure you said you'd never do it again the last time you fell asleep in."

"Ah, we said we'd never speak of it!"

Mia just laughs at Charlie's flustered face.

"And so what I was texting Robert. We've been best friends for ages now."

"You've been in love with him for ages as well. I swear if I'm not invited to your wedding I'm going to be very upset."

Charlie drops the branches in her hands shocked. She splutters before demanding Mia, "Stop messing around."

"In all seriousness Charlie, you can see how much that boy loves you. I can't help but remember how your parents acted before they got together."

"Really?"

Mia softens her tone as she reminisces, "They were basically attached at the hip. Stealing glances at each other, laughing at jokes only they understand."

"Best friends do that too."

"You're absolutely correct," Mia smirks.

"I don't like your tone so I'm leaving. I have to check on Dirk and his family today."
