Keith POV

"hey keith"

A cheery voice came from behind him, Keith mentally groaned not wanting to deal with anymore criticism for the rest of the morning.

he sighs reluctantly turning around, preparing himself to be bombarded by insults but instead he was met with a friendly face "oh.....hello Allura"

Allura Altea the kindest most respectful person keith had ever met, she was what people would describe as a 'perfect child'. Good grades, good looks, a good personality, a good family background, she got along with every one and she was filthy rich, so quite literally she was a perfect person.

But don't misunderstand, just because she's a nice person doesn't mean that she's willing to become friends with Keith.

Now it's not like she bullies him or anything like that in fact if she doesn't have to she won't even give him a second glance, but if it does require her to speak with him she doesn't say anything unnecessary and try's to end the conversation quickly.

Allura brushed her long white hair over her shoulder and plastered a smile on her face "well keith as you know I am the student council president" she paused and looked at keith to make sure her was actually listening to her, when she was met with indifferent eyes staring back at her ,she cleared nervously cleared her throat and continued.

"A-and the principal has informed me that there will be a new student coming to the school tomorrow-"

"what does this have to do with me?" keith interrupted he was getting a bit annoyed at how long this conversation had drawn out, Allura seemed to pick up on keith irritation, she cleared her throat once more "ok lets get straight to the point." she took a deep breath

"I need someone to fill in for me and show the new student around but every one I've asked had something important to do that morning and I've notice that you don't really do anything in the morning before class so I figured I could ask you to do it for me and I already had the principal excuse you from your first class that day and I would really appreciate if you did this for me.....please?"

keith stood silent for a moment processing what the girl had just said "No way" he said in an uninterested tone, he already had enough problem with the assholes that currently attend the school and he wasn't up for dealing with one more "come on keith please-"

"No" keith stated plainly and turned his attention back to his locker, Allura sighed, she knew keith was not an easy person to persuade.

keith closed his locker and began to walk away "I'll pay you" he stopped, pausing for a moment before slightly turning his head to look over his shoulder telling her she had his attention.

she sighed straightening her posture "10 dollars-"

"30"

"deal" she said excitedly reaching for her purse, keith stared at her 'of course she would have no problem throwing away 30 bucks over something some stupid' but he wasn't complaining.

after receiving the money keith watched as Allura happily skipped down the hall to talk to some of her friends, he sighed he was starting to rethink this whole thing, but 30 dollars was 30 dollars and despite how cold and uncaring he seemed, his conscience wouldn't stop nagging him if he just took her money and not keep his part of their little deal. he just quickly made his way to his first class dreading the rest of the day.
