It was a peaceful day in Brooklyn throughout most of the borough, except for one little pond tucked away from the rest of the busy world.

"Help! George! They're all dying!" Label, a young frog cried. George, her husband swam over.

"Woah- what's going on?!" And then he turned and saw it. Thousands of eggs sizzling up, dying.

"I'm not sure! They just-..." She stared sadly at the last egg. It was bigger than the rest, and being bigger, had survived.

Slowly the egg began to hatch... A big tadpole rustled around. And finally out it popped, surprising Label.

"Woah! You're a big one!" She laughed, as it swam around her. Label turned to George.

"What should we name it?" She asked. George was still thinking about the eggs that all died.. and so quickly...

"Huh-?" He snapped back to reality and immediately turned to see the tadpole.

"Hiya big dude!" He chuckled and the tadpole swam up to him. Suddenly, Label realized what to name him.

"Greg!" She gasped. The tadpole's eyes lit up. He liked the name Greg! He swam in a circle, to show his pleasure.

And that is how Greg was born. With his family, tucked away in Brooklyn... But it wouldn't be this nice forever...
