Narnia's POV:
"Why are you late?" Jason questioned the moment I reached the warehouse. "The carb I ordered delayed" I said as an excuse. He didn't seem to buy it all though let it go. I cared less. By the way, can you explain to me why you refused to speak up when I called you, he inquired rather calmly. "Umm..... sorry about that, it's just that the signal wasn't clear so maybe that's why you couldn't hear me speak but I promise, I did.
I replied quickly to cover up the fact that I had forgotten my phone back at home. All the more I thought as to who might have answered his call and not long after I realised that Nelson must have been the one since he was the only one available at home. "Oh no, I hope Jason said nothing to make him suspicious of me cause knowing Nelson, he won't rest until he gets to the bottom of everything if ever he should suspect something. "Anyways, here you go, be quick with it. We've already wasted enough time" he said as he handed me the delivery and it's address. Judging from the address, the place seemed to be farther than I expected but I refrained from complaining and proceeded to deliver the package.
On reaching my destination, I got to know that this client has been dealing with Jason for a very long time now. He inquired of why I was the one delivering the package and not a girl by name Samantha Oriella. I remember Jason telling me some months ago that his employee had passed away and came to a conclusion that Samantha was the one. I wonder what happened to hear. I informed the client about being ignorant of who she was and did everything possible to vacate from there as fast as I could. "How did it go? "Jason ask as I handed him the money. "Well as you can see, he paid in full and everything else was perfect". I answered bluntly. "Good, well done" he said as he turned around to leave. "Wait", I prompted, wanting to ask a question. "What is it?" He retorted, curious to know why I had stopped him. "Who is Samantha?" He looked at me expressionless for about a minute and just left. He later texted me asking me to arrange some sort of documents on his desk. I hurriedly got to work so I could finish on time for dinner night with Nelson. While starking the papers, I came across a hidden compactment on his desk. I opened it carefully not to damage anything and inside it was a bunch of files in a black covers. I thought twice about it but for curiosity's sake, I opened the first one and to my horror it was the dirt pile of someone by name John Clark. I skimmed through the rest of them and they were all the death files of various people but the one that shock me to my bones was the death file of Samantha Oriella. I cupped my mouth with my hands to cover a sob. I wasted no time in making a duplicate of the file with the photocopy machine in the office and quickly put everything back in place and went back to stacking the files onto the desk.
I did my possible best to finish within the shortest time and get the heck out of that office as soon as possible. Finally some light seems to be shining on my situation. I'd be gathering more of such evidence and at the right time to expose Jason and make sure he pays for everything he's done to me and all those innocent people killed. 2 minutes later and I had gathered just about enough evidence to put chasing behind bars. Jason was already on the police's wanted list seems they've been looking for evidence against him for years now without no luck. I called one of their stations and fitted my kids after which I phoned Mikayla and apologize to her for my change in attitude and character towards her I invited her over to my house so I could discuss with her my foundings about Jason and my reason for behaving the way I did but unfortunately, she was at the supermarket so I had to wait a little longer and the pressure was just overwhelming.

Mikayla's POV:
I was met by a bunch of police cars around Narnia's house as I returned from the supermarket. In a state of confusion I quickly packed my car and got down leaving my stuff in the car. I approached one of the policeman and he informed me that someone had called their office earlier claiming to have evidence against one of our most sought-after criminals but when we got here she was lying in a pool of your own blood. Unfortunately the victim couldn't make it. He said she and there's only one girl in that house.
"No, no, no, this couldn't be happening. No, no, no Narnia. I saw them carrying the dead body out and into the ambulance. I rushed to the ambulance and begged them to allow me to see who it was and to my utter most horror, It was Narnia's dead body like laying limp on the bed. I shook my head in disbelief, refusing to accept that my best friend was more. Nelson came out of nowhere and asked to see whose body was beneath the covers. There and then I saw him break down at the realisation that it was Narnia. His only relative apart from the parent. We were both heartbroken and in a dilemma, not knowing what to do next. We allowed them to take the body to the hospital for an autopsy and it came out that Narnia was in fact murdered. I blamed myself for her death. Maybe if I had been there for her, maybe I had ran to hear place after she phoned, then maybe she could still be with us.
